Seems like a pretty good analogy to mutations PLUS natural selection.
What's the problem?
Oh, and add a couple of BILLION years of time and UNTOLD TRILLIONS OF TRILLIONS of molecules going through this process at any given time on earth.
Seems like a good recipe for life coming together eventually.
Molecules do not mutate.

You first had to arrive at the first living, self-replicating cell for mutation to occur.

And you don't get billions and billions of years for each dramatic innovation.

But muddying the water is one way to approach it. Congratulations.

He did not say molecules mutate, he said molecules are involved in the process of mutation but feel free to misrepresent what he says and muddying his water.... Congratulations.

Actually you do get billions of years

“The oldest evidence for life may be 3.5-billion-year-old sedimentary structures from Australia that resemble stromatolites. Stromatolites are created today by living mats of microorganisms (mostly cyanobacteria, or blue-green algae).”

“Regardless, uncontested microfossils and chemical traces of life were present at least by 2.7 billion years ago. Stromatolites that were produced by microorganisms are abundant later in the Archean and throughout the Proterozoic. These sedimentary structures, formed by organic processes, provide important evidence of early life. At present, we can say with certainty that life had evolved by 2.7 billion years ago, and possibly as early as 3.5 billion years ago.”

“The earliest evidence for life found so far is in a 3.8 billion-year-old rock, the Isua sediments, found in western Greenland. The evidence for life in these rocks does not come from fossilized remains, but from a peculiar chemical signature of living organisms. These rocks were deposited on the surface of an oceanic crust on what was thought to be a deep ocean. So the Isua sediments are actually an ancient sea-floor.”

That is not what he said.

This is what he said, after he referred to mutation:

"molecules going through this process"

If he had said "molecules are involved in the process, it would look like this:

"molecules are involved in this process"

See the difference?

And you are wrong about my comment about not getting billions of years. I didn't suggest that you don't get billions of years for the present biologic spectrum to evolve. I said you don't get billions of years for major innovations.

If you would learn to read, I might not make a fool of you with each post you write.

After = even you admitted that... AFTER. As I remember it was even in a different paragraph

But your free home school PhD in reading words bigger than “and” and “but” confirms the old adage of you get what you pay for

But perhaps you are saying that mutations are not re-arrangements of molecules in a cell – wow that’s interesting – I think I will tell my doctor friends that you have just re-defined genealogy

True and neither did Gillette suggest billions and billions, yet you deemed it worthy of lying about what he wrote just so you could have your little irrelevant dig

It would not make sense to say molecules undergo the process before you mentioned the process you are talking about.

That's why it's after. He implied molecules undergo mutation.

Sorry, but I have the advantage here - I can read.

Gillette's problem is the same as yours - picking up a fragment or two of science information, but in trying to apply it, being dumb as hell.

Sure. Your rebuttals consist of prison jokes.

And even those are unimaginative.

Keep up the research. It's going great.

You might even uncover the fact that Stalin turned to atheism.

80 years after everyone else discovered it.

The prison jokes are tailored for you and you alone because you deserve them and it’s the least I could do... see how I care? I find it rather amusing how you get a hard on when lying and making the usual buck BS up and cracking jokes about me but you get the hump when I crack deserved jokes about you. You don’t like it then despite your incarceration you still have free will too butt out.

You have no 1st hand documentation that Stalin turned to atheism. In fact very little is known of his religious beliefs while he was mass murdering people. However his religious beliefs of his earlier and later life is well known. All you have ever provided (all there is) is hearsay published in the 60’s and 70’s by American authors who had a vested interest in pandering to American godbot sensibilities. I.e. Stalin was a nasty bastard so he cannot possibly have been christian... Such ignorance of the christian faith is the reason why the American interpretation of history is the laughing stock of the world.

It is often the case that rampant gobots confuse nationalism with atheism, this is a common godbot failing because in truth they have no frigging idea what atheism is. It is no one’s fault but your own that you are ignorant of the meaning of the word and of Stalin’s life – get an education, you know it makes sense.

Bwahahah...

I proved you have a double standard for things you want to believe.

You believe black holes, never observed, because someone told you to believe it.

You disbelieve any god, and your standard is to demand direct observation.

I bet you also believe the infinite universe - which is impossible.

You have a religion. It's just a bit different than some others.

What you proved is that apples (even infinite apples) are not invisible oranges - simple to do even for the simple minded like you. However what you forgot (always forget) to mention is evidence.

I believe in black holes because there is evidence that black holes exist.

I do not believe in gods because there is NO evidence that they exist

Already been here with the infinite universe and shown you the results of the WMAP experiment, you may consider it impossible but the facts consider it a possibility, not my problem that you have such a problem with facts.

Yes you could possibly call my beliefs a religion until you consider that there are no gods involved so by some definitions, no I don’t have a religion.

Don’t get me wrong here, you have a good brain and are no doubt quite intelligent. Where you fall on you face is your poor attitude, aptitude, your deliberate lies and deceptions and the discredited babble belt home school ideas you put that intelligence to
