It's true and not one Christian on here can prove otherwise yet this is their book of :hahaha: absolute morality?

I don't know.
What are you talking about?
From your link..
"Was Noah's flood story fiction or fact?
Much of the flood story was fiction, but there was a real river flood on which the original flood legend was based. Ziusudra, the Sumerian Noah was listed in the Sumerian King List and therefore may have been a real person, but there is no hard evidence that Noah/Ziusudra existed."
took you this long to figure out the story was fiction :-)

If the Colorado river made the Grand Canyon it would have had to flow up hill at the beginning. The fact is the altitude at the beginning of the Grand Canyon is lower then the exit end of the Grand Canyon at the top layer of the canyon.
It is now. It wasn't when the river started flowing. Since that time the land has risen and the river cut through it. You do realize that the level of land changes over time, right? Such changes have even happened in historical times. They do happen very slowly.

Indeed. An ugly book can only inspire an ugly religion.

Looking around and at history?

That is exactly what happened... Genuine Christianity™ is about as ugly as it gets.

But Genuine Islam™ is rapidly catching up to that ugly historical record, and will likely surpass it soon.

It is unlikely that Langy realizes the sun appears to come up in the East every day ...

Just as he has no clue about anything that requires a slight understanding of science.

Yes indeed Islam stole all the worst parts of the OT and NT and added to it.

If only the world was a majority of a kinder more human peace oriented religion we would be better off.

Yes indeed-- if only the Greeks or even the early Roman period had not been usurped by the more violent (evil) hate-cults.

At least the Roman/Greek gods were more ... human.

Not nearly as ugly as the bible/quoran gods are ....

... meh.

The Hellenistic gods taught far more valuable lessons where the god had to use ingenuity and compromise with others to achieve a goal. That even when you are down and out ready to death you can use your brain and get through it.

Less hand waving cause god said so and more beneficial teachings and morals.

That would make a great slogan for a T-shirt.

Perhaps with a picture of a bible just so people know what ugly book and religion we're talking about.

Had the Hellenistic religion reached out to the poor more Christianity would have never took root.

Why?

You think inequality and religious bigotry is a GOOD thing or something?

You know-- Genuine Christianity™?

The obligations of religious toleration and pluralism require all who care not a bit about baseball to accept that opening day is more than the beginning of a sports season. It is a great religious festival.

It can’t be an accident that baseball always starts around the time of both Easter and Passover and, thus,“elicits a sense of renewal.” For the faithful, it means that “the long dark nights of winter are over” and “the slate is clean.” All teams, the exalted and lowly alike,“are tied at zero wins and zero losses.” This, in turn, means that the fervent cry “Wait’ll next year” becomes “prologue, replaced by hope.”

It's the law in many states and the law of the God of the Bible. Just because it's really unforced in most states doesn't mean you are not breaking the law.

M&M

"eighteen states still refuse to rewrite their laws and take these anti-gay laws off their books, with countless LGBT Americans continuing to feel their devastating effects as a result. Several state legislatures and courts have exploited loopholes in the Lawrence decision, while others have simply refused to acknowledge the decision altogether.

Continued Enforcement
Nearly a decade after Lawrence, many states have continued to enforce laws prohibiting private, consensual sex between same-sex adults.

In Michigan, the practice of charging and convicting gay men under the state’s “Abominable and Detestable Crime Against Nature” or “Gross Indecency” laws still exists, with violators facing the risk of having to register as sex offenders and prison sentences of up to 15 years. According to Rudy Serra, attorney and Chairman of the Executive Clemency Council for the State of Michigan, police officers continue toaggressively prosecute LGBT people without legal challenge:

The legislature still has not repealed the sodomy and gross indecency statutes, even after Lawrence v. Texas, and ultra-conservative ("strict constructionist") judges still continue to enforce the "legislative intent" to criminalize gay sex, regardless of what the U.S. Supreme Court says.

LGBT people in Michigan continue to be charged with crimes for public speech, in which they let another person know they are interested in private, unpaid sex with another adult. Bag-A-Fag(undercover decoy cop) operations, where police officers pretend to be gay men cruising for unpaid, consensual sex continue in Michigan. LGBT people are still at risk of spending 15 years in state prison for acts that are perfectly legal in most other states.[emphasis added]
Even in states where sodomy laws are understood by judges to be unconstitutional, the presence of sodomy laws can cause gays and lesbians to be dragged into humiliating, costly, and discriminatory legal disputes."

Oh goodie. Can you get the others to join you? You can be so proud that your brain is confused on what sex you body is. Something to be so proud of.
Well that brain damage helps explain your delusion of atheist.
