You just think 1 Corinthians not genesis tells the creation story.

What day does the bible say god created the sun? Day 4.

First off this discussion was not about the Bible. I asked what is Pi using only whole numbers. Sense no atheist was able to do it I win.

No. You measure the total result, then round. And it's "whole", fucktard.

bible = bollocks = langoliers.

Correct Pi is not 3.14 but I don't have room on here to list all of Pi.
10*(Pi rounded to a hole number)=30

So how are we supposed to tell which part of the bible to take literally or not?
um you can study the bible translated in modern english instead old 15 century english.

How I learned about the bible was when i was offered a bible study with some christians , they were Jehovahs witnesses.

its a free home bible study, you dont have to go their lil meetings or be one of them .
they study go exactly by the bible .

I also went to the baptist church but with them its mostly just talking instead of researching the scriptures. They had a lot of things to say but its really up to you though

i only studied the bbl with J.Ws because i learned a lot amd it was free lol

The best way to learn about the Bible is to read it.

All of it.

By yourself.

When you study it with others, the focus shifts to what they think are important and away from parts that they think are less significant, are too confusing for a beginner, that they don't understand themselves, or that they find problematic.

Start at the beginning. Read a little. Think a little. Read some more, think some more. It takes longer, but when you're done, you will probably understand it better than those who would presume to teach you--and you will probably have serious doubts about YHWH alias Jehovah alias God and the religions and sects based on the Bible.

I figured from your rambling you were a member of a cult. Thanks for verifying it.

The Jehovah Witlesses just taught you their flavor of apologetic brainwashing. They have some very strange beliefs even in looney Christhole apologetic land.

If I give you a math problem and I state use only whole numbers.

10*(Pi whole number)=30

And you claim I'm wrong the answer is 31. I would flunk your azz.

Tell you what, you're locked in a room with only two doors, door A and door B.
there are also two computers in the room, computer 1 and computer 2.
One of the computers is programmed to always lie no matter what. While the other computer will tell the truth no matter what.
If you open the wrong door you're dead.
You are allowed to ask one computer one question to make it out of the room safely.

What would that question be?

um the bible was taught by jesus. he was a teacher.
its just like going to school.

You can tell when people are twisting the bible. for example when they say oh your going to hell if you do bad things .

ok hell in greek means grave... sin just brings death which is why adam and eve did not live forever.
the bible for told about poeple who would rise up twisting the scriptures to tickle the earsbothers and mislead many

2 tim 4:1to 5 1 tim 4 :1to 5
matt 24: 30- 37 etc
it says through out the bible...

the name of the God of the bible is Yahweh in english his name is Jehovah.

it means causes to become or causes to create.
the name Jesus means Yahweh is salvation .

most religions hide the name because they believe it is to sacred but theybsay halleujah which means praise jah ..

if a religion is true they must go exactly by the bible...

Jesus was a teacher he preached , he was humble , he didnt live a life full of fame .he just prraching and deciples preached as well.

real christians were not really liked. the romans hated them . neither did the jews..so
christians well true christians would like face the same thing.

a cult lol ...hahahahah.. so to you the bible is a cult ?

The fisrt century christians didnt celebrate holidays , they preached, they didnt getninvolved in politics they were peaceble and they were heavily persecuted..

i said i studied with them i never said i was christian.

You sir do not believe in the bible. if you look at first century christians then look at Jehovahs witness they are basically identically as far as what their teachings being bible based..

if they were a cult then they would not go by the bible..they would have a totally different book.

its looking a real dollar and a fake one..if you study the real thing you can recognize a false one when you see it.

in like manner if you studied the bible you would know.

all you do is make assumptions from your point of view which is not correct because you already dislike the bible .

hahhaha a cult ?
if you celebrate holidays , most of them orginate from pegan worship of ancient gods.

valentines day christmas halloween etc
if anyones in cult its the majority of those who unknowingly celebrate and partake in the same worship as the ancient humans.

a cult is anything that carrying on tradition and religious ceremonies so until you seperate from that entirely you are in a cult..

I believe the bible is valid.
but how are you going accuse someone of being in a cult if they observe the bible and yet younobserve traditions of men that served amcient gods and still continue to worship them?

dont you celebrate new years hmm january stems from janu the god of old and new

so until you completely seperate yourself from every religious worship then my friend until then you are in a cult.

If you are atheist thats fine.
but its not wise to tell someone they are in a cult when you by definition are in one. lol

im not in one i dont carry on human tradtions that have the worship of ancient gods all intertwine im them..

lol if the ancient woke up from the dead you would be doing the same worship they did.

if your atheist then you shouldnt be worshipping any gods.
