I agree.

Its onion-skin paper makes for excellent rolling papers.

It's like the shampoo and other amenities in hotels.

So the Ten Commandments aren't important and we can remove them from our courthouses?

I'm up in a ladder pulling them down right now.

I have already removed 1-4.

Another half hour and I'm done.

When did religion get such a good name anyway? Be it the Crusades, the reformation genocides, troubles in Northern Ireland, the middle-East, mass slaughters supposedly in the name of allah, and then of course the obligatory reciprocal retributions.
Hundreds of millions of people have died in religious conflicts. Hitler did his business in the name of his creator, 9/11 was an act of religious extremism. It’s our greatest threat today – a holy jihad.
If we’re not ready to strip religion of its ‘sacred cow’ status, how ‘bout we at least scale back a little on the Constitutional dogma exalting it as all get-out.
Everybody should get to believe in his god, pray to his god, worship his god; of course. But to impose him on others, to victimize others in his name … the Founding Fathers of this country set out to prevent religious persecution, not to license it.…
At a certain point we have to say ENOUGH with this freedom of religion crap…yuck … yuck … yuck.”
~ Alan Shore, law firm of Crane, Poole & Schmidt (James Spader on Boston Legal)
I've always maintained that freedom of religon doesn't mean you have to have one.

<quoted text>Let's see, your god doesn't know how many legs insects have. He doesn't know that bats breast feed their young, and he was beaten by the iron chariot? Was that god created by anything other than man? No! He is solely mans creation.
Only man would see a three year old girl as a sex partner, if a god had created her, he would have known that her body had not yet matured. A human who is a pedophile would have no such qualms. There are about a thousand absolutes that disqualify the buybull god as a god. He is though a very sad look at the male human animal.
Do you consider Zeus, Kali, Pele as real gods, or were they created by men?
I don't believe you are qualified to judge, but please, by all means, rant away- maybe you'll feel better.

Not a suprise in California- how's supporting 10,000,000 illegal immigrants working out for you?

For me personally?

Great.

If you're asking me for my philosophical position?

I want to be a member of a society I respect.

And to me (not my original thought), the measure of a society is the DIGNITY with which it treats its weakest members.

When you want to decide on a political position, don't forget that these are human beings, real people, no different from you and me. Consider the dignity of the people, and of the position you take.

I guess what I'm saying is, don't dance around this stuff.

Oh I see desperation! Change the subject change the subject! Lol!

So you avoid the OT so you should advocate the removal of the Ten Commandments.

Hey, my judgement is based on what is in the bible, and I am very qualified to judge. You see I was once a Christain, and then I read the bible, and became a non believer because of reading it. The bible gave me a Christain, leeway, to judge everything and everybody, just like you lot do now. When I became a non believer, I did not throw away the ability to judge, I kept it, and I find it to be extremely useful. Maybe you should read the buybull and discover what a tool your god really is.
and btw, what you believe is as immaterial as it is ridiculous.

I'm more prone to advocate the removal of stoopid comments like yours. "Thou shalt not kill" makes more sense than "Thou canst kill people who don't believe".

Illegals aren't members of society merely because they snuck into it, sport. Nice example of liberal thinking that is eroding the real society you got going there.

Where do borders come from? What is nationality? What is citizenship?

When you understand the above more deeply, you'll understand Catcher's profoundly important point.

Nice. You just got Pwned yet again.

If you are in prison I understand believing in God I am with you. But why would smart free people believe in that? Bill Maher.

I understand his point of view- pity facts don't bsck him up. It makes you athiests crow when I cannot post proof of God's existence, yet his position of giving away America is perfectly acceptable to you. I had a better response than this, but my wifi is being temperamental and I'm not going to change this again.
