Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! We just might all be right here in the Atheism forum, when you lot come in attacking. It's our house you are stomping around in.

PS- can you show me an attack? I realize, like most liberals, you consider being disagreed with as offensive, but in this case, they aren't the same thng.

Yes, you are offensive. You can argue that you are not until you are blue in the face, but everybody on this forum has repeatedly told you in no uncertain terms that you are not welcome in this forum and that you continued postings in here are indeed offensive.

That you even do so in this particular thread is doubly offensive. Read the title of this thread and either post on subject or find another thread. Are you really to stupidly rude to understand this?

You have gone out of your way to enter a forum which is clearly labeled as being specifically to discuss atheism. You do nothing but make snide comments about atheists & atheism, offer vague threats of eternal punishment, and generally make posts exactly like any other unwelcome troll we have the displeasure of abiding on these threads.

That you continue to do this provides on-going evidence that Christians in general and you specifically are rude, hateful, self-centered pricks. Given the choice between an eternity in hell with the likes of Samuel Clemens, Bertrand Russel, Einstein, Asimov, et.al., or spending even one moment with the likes of you in heaven, I would gladly prefer hell.

"History does not record anywhere at any time a religion that has any rational basis. Religion is a crutch for people not strong enough to stand up to the unknown without help. But, like dandruff, most people do have a religion and spend time and money on it and seem to derive considerable pleasure from fiddling with it." ~ Robert Heinlein

"Of all the strange crimes that humanity has legislated out of nothing, blasphemy is the most amazing - with obscenity and indecent exposure fighting it out for second and third place." ~ Robert Heinlein

"The most ridiculous concept ever perpetrated by H.Sapiens is that the Lord God of Creation, Shaper and Ruler of the Universes, wants the saccharine adoration of his creations, that he can be persuaded by their prayers, and becomes petulant if he does not receive this flattery. Yet this ridiculous notion, without one real shred of evidence to bolster it, has gone on to found one of the oldest, largest and least productive industries in history." ~ Robert Heinlein

"God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnibenevolent - it says so right here on the label. If you have a mind capable of believing all three of these attributes simultaneously, I have a wonderful bargain for you. No checks, please. Cash and in small bills." ~ Lazarus Long

"Theology is never any help; it is searching in a dark cellar at midnight for a black cat that isn't there." ~ Robert A. Heinlein

"Anyone who can worship a trinity and insist that his religion is a monotheism can believe anything... just give him time to rationalize it." ~ Robert A. Heinlein

"If you pray hard enough, you can make water run uphill. How hard? Why, hard enough to make water run uphill, of course!" ~ Robert A. Heinlein

"The profession of shaman has many advantages. It offers high status with a safe livelihood free of work in the dreary, sweaty sense. In most societies it offers legal privileges and immunities not granted to other men. But it is hard to see how a man who has been given a mandate from on High to spread tidings of joy to all mankind can be seriously interested in taking up a collection to pay his salary; it causes one to suspect that the shaman is on the moral level of any other con man. But it is a lovely work if you can stomach it." ~ Lazarus Long

"A religion is sometime a source of happiness, and I would not deprive anyone of happiness. But it is a comfort appropriate for the weak, not for the strong. The great trouble with religion - any religion - is that a religionist, having accepted certain propositions by faith, cannot thereafter judge those propositions by evidence. One may bask at the warm fire of faith or choose to live in the bleak certainty of reason- but one cannot have both." ~ Robert A. Heinlein

- Hedonist.

I'd like to add, justagi, that you're also stupid. Honestly. Irretrievably stupid.

Good luck with that.

No, really. Good luck.

I'll take the luck when deer season opens, thank you. Also, I'm betting Hell won't be the relief you snidely believe it will.'fraid you have yet to prove any of your assertions of "rude, hateful self-centered", but then hate will blind a feller when he allows it to. I would think you would be grateful that I haven't preached at you, posted Bible verses or posted quotes from famous freethinkers to refute some of yours- but then, gratitude is something you pick and choose from, not express...in your case.

aaa-hahahahaha! Hell! Oh, that's great. You might scare children with hell but little boy, I'm all growed up.

You're welcome to post whatever you like. I see bible verses, I just skip. Who wants to read meaningless drivel?

If you want to argue, and bear the full brunt of my attention, you're welcome to join me on the prove or faith thread:

Prove: http://www.topix.com/forum/topstories/TOCO8TE...

Admittedly, the Prove thread is pretty trashy these days, but the Faith thread still has some lovin' to give.

Faith: http://www.topix.com/forum/topstories/TUGI0DV...

But I understand if that's too frightening for you.

Cheers.

"Isn't it a remarkable coincidence almost everyone has the same religion as their parents? And it always just happens to be the right religion. Religions run in families. If we'd been brought up in ancient Greece we would all be worshiping Zeus and Apollo. If we had been born Vikings we would be worshiping Wotan and Thor. How does this come about? Through childhood indoctrination." ~ Richard Dawkins
