LeHaye claims they are dramatizations based *loosely* on bible scripture I had to point out to a librarian that his book, Revelation Unveiled, was labeled by the publisher as non-fiction. I found it very funny that so many Christians who were fans of his "fiction" had no clue that, in reality, he believed that absolutely no Christians would make it to heaven. It is the purest irony that he made so much money off misguided Christian fans. Fleecing the gullible christian flock is an American Pastime on a par with basebsll. From Aimee Semple McPherson to Jim and Tammy to Oral Roberts telling his flock that god would 'call him home' if a suitable ransom was not donated, there's been no shortage of preachers making a good living off the devout but not astute. "Preacher fleecing flock" is a headline of the same novelty as "dog bites man".

Meat Drapes wrote: <quoted text>So we had MORE social freedoms durring the civil rights movement? Better work on your GED retard. You asked "Please name a time in Western history where legislation allowed for more "moral freedoms" I'm all ears. " And I said the civil rights movement. It's a great answer isn't it? Because before this movement, you guys thought it was moral to build blacks different toilets. The greatness of this answer to your question frustrates you, and this is why you call me a retard.

Reason by itself won't be enough, but international communication will ultimately be fatal to superstitions and backward, oppressive cultures. As thoughts, opinions and ideas spreads around the world via the Internet, people will become more inquisitive towards things in life. Religious, political and social issues are no longer restricted to the intellectual elite as access to the Internet can inform people on these. People are questioning politicians and religious leaders more these days. A couple of generations ago, the majority of people tend to just accept on what they hear from religious and political organizations.
