<quoted text> if you want to read a fascinating book with a wild theory about Jesus - not that I agree, but the writing is excellent and it reads like a novel - try The Passover Plot. The theory is that Jesus planned and plotted his own attempted murder, and followed a scenario he thought he saw in prophecy, because he had been brainwashed to think he was the real Messiah. He plotted not to die, and had an above ground burial site ready, and something went amiss, apparently... better than Agatha Christie.

great! let us know what you think of it. no matter what you think of the theory, what do you think of the writing and the plotting - the imagination of the author to think of that version of the story? I will enjoy hearing from you. I enjoy your comments often, even when I do not reply. sometimes there is nothing to add because you have expressed something so well.

Most certainly and thank you for the great recommendation! I dug the Dan Brown books so I am certain this one will be enjoyable as well. If Jesus had existed the plot doesn't sound so far fetched. I mean he would have died for the sins of Adam and Eve two people that more and more Theists themselves think may have been Jewish myth and nothing more. It would be like me sacrificing myself for Spiderman! Lol

I agree that this is a crazy christian concept. does anyone know what other religious have something equivalent? I do not recall where that concept came from. maybe better go ask Wiki.

10 reasons why beer is better than religion...

1. You can prove you have a beer

2. there are laws saying beer labels can't lie to you

3. you don't have to wait 2000+ years for another beer

4. nobody's ever been burned, hanged or tortured over his brand of beer

5. when you have a beer, you don't knock on people's doors trying to give it away

6. they don't force beer on minors, who can't think for themselves

7. no beer has ever caused a major war

8. beer doesn't tell you how to have sex

9. no one will kill you for not drinking beer

10. if you've devoted your life to beer, there are groups to help you stop
