Something special today? How about an atheist Bus Campaign

Feb 14, 2013 Full story: Brand Republic 69

Do you remember that controversial bus advertising campaign from 2009? Ads from The British Humanist Association appeared promoting atheism on London buses following an effort to raise money funded by members of the public and the scientist and author Richard Dawkins.

You say that Jesus is a fictional character and you spew hatred about him.
Yet the easter bunny is definitely a fictional character and is associated with easter (rightly or wrongly) and yet you say nothing.
If the christian churches used mickey mouse to get kids to follow the teachings of Jesus via cartoons, comic etc. Would you be saying mickey mouse is a poof (like KK) or kill mickey and the kids that listen to the Jesus message?
I see common sense isn't something you have alot of.
The Easter Bunny, is not only a fictional character, but everyone(except small children) knows that the EB is fictional. Noone is trying to pass laws based on the Easter Bunny. No one is demanding that people live a certain way because of the EB. Not one single person(that I know of) has ever been killed because of the teachings of the EB. Can you see the difference?

If you are claiming that the teachings of Jesus are responsible for murder then which teachings are you referring to?
If Jesus is a fictional character as you claim then how can he have teachings?
If Jesus is a fictional character would these 'teachings' that supposedly incite murder actually be the words of someone else?
But you dont take issue with that someone else as you would rather blame Jesus who you claim to be fictional.

Atheists don't blame Jesus, because Jesus isn't real - just like god. Have you ever tried being angry at something that isn't really there? You'd have to first believe in it to hate it - and atheists don't!

Poor Siro... It's pretty clear that what he hates the most, is himself, for falling for such an idiotic idea, the god meme.

He's kinda pathological about that.

But it's still sad to witness.

I bet you ride in the special bus.

Ok, I'll type slow.....
Matthew 5:7-18 "
17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled."

Matthew 10:34 "I did not come to bring peace, but a sword."

2: It doesn't matter that Jesus is fictional to me. It DOES matter that he is real to those who follow that charcters' teachings. When I refer to the teachings of jesus, of course I am referring to those things that the Bible claims that he said.

3: Pretty much see answer two. If someone would be killing in the name of Voltermort, because they think Voltermort is was real, I would take offense to the teachings of Voltermort just as much as I do the fictional Jesus. I don't know if you are being purposely ignorant to these things, or if maybe you lack education, or maybe you are 10 years old, and simply haven't obtained the real world experience to know these things that are obvious to most educated adults. Whichever it is, it sure indicates the mental capacity of a theist.

Lastly, you cannot claim to be a christian and ignore the brutality and violence in the old Testement. To a true christian, the old testement is just as valid as the new.

Yes, when you are engaged in brain-washing it is necessary to sneak it in whenever you can. Belief in myths requires it.

Since the teachings of Jesus say that the law must be followed, and the law says to kill witches, kill aurgumentive children, etc... than his teaching endorses all of those things. Man you are slow!

As for me saying that you can't be a christian... once again, your almost infantile understanding of the written word is pathetic. I never said YOU are a christian, I said IF you claim to be a christian.....

As for your denial of being a christian... So what? If you argue on the side of the myth, it is reasonable to assume that you support that piece of stupidity. Do I believe you are not a christian? No, I don't believe it for a second. You have shown yourself to be ignorant in so many ways, that the idea that you are a liar is not beyond belief. As a matter of fact, I would be surprised if you weren't lying. But really, it is not necessary for you to be a christian, just keep posting. Your stupidity, and lack of education is like a great big present to every atheist in the world. LOL!!!

I was getting that feeling. I can't tell whether he is playing stupid, or is really that stupid. I hope it is the former.

He does not appear to be deep enough or sophisticated enough to play at anything other than what he appears to be...
