Grand old delusions.

Good old dick.

Grand obscure deity.

No idea.

What others tell me.

Grand old celusions.

I do not mean this in a bad or insulting way, but there is no other explanation for the indoctrination of this belief.

They are too busy trying to debunk "Darwinian Evolution", The Big Bang, and other topics irrelevant to atheism.

Because if they define god they would have to prove it.

The more precisely a god is defined, the more obvious it becomes that that god cannot and does not exist. That's why only ill defined gods are able to retain followers and are, as such, the best adapted ones. It's another example of natural selection at work.

Very well said and thank you NS and VCP.

This should be the thread the Theists flock to. Instead they avoid it. Perhaps their faith isn't really so strong.

That may be because it doesn't appear on their forums. You'd be surprised how many of our theist posters post from their home turf. But so many of our threads begin as responses to articles on the news page and so many of those threads are shared with the religious forums that it looks like they seek us out more than they actually do.

But never fear. Our regular trolls will show up here eventually.
