Of course, it's about one group of people who want to live by a certain set of rules that worked 2,000 years ago and don't take into consideration the fact that the world has changed and we have changed with it. Versus...another group that believe their belief system should adapt to account for the new realities presented by life today in 2008.

In that 2,000 we've gotten smarter, more savvy about the world and our place in it and relized that things we thought were true in the past are not really true.

At one time people were persecuted by the church because they dated to say that the Earth went around the Sun. And yet, today we know that is exactly what happens. The world was flat and now we know it's now. Truth is not always "THE truth", and truth can be different for different people.

Hey, if people want to live by 2,000 yaers old rules, give them a state or a province and let them all move there and have at it and let the rest of us live in the here and now (also called reality).
