While TEC works through this possible schism, at what point does Bishop Schori 'call the question' to close the endless back and forth (I'm not trying to belittle the debate taking place, just using an expression).
Is part of her charge as PB to try to resolve disagreements such as this? Does she have the authority to do so, or is she enjoined somehow from doing this?
I'm sure she won't do anything until the next Bishop's meeting or possibly the next General Convention. There's nothing clear in the Constitution and Canons regarding this.
Personally, I'm ready for them to leave. Over 30 years of threats, intimidation, hatred and collusion with foreign oversight are enough.
There are pleny of other denominations that could accomadate them.
