Hmm, on the one hand, they are wrong for doing this, since the Bible does not prohibit same sex marriages, but on the other hand, the 1st amendment guarantees the right to practice one's religion, no matter how misguided.

You say the Bible does not prohibit same sex marriage?

You're an idiot.

Traditional Jewish weddings were entered by any one of three methods: exchange of vows, exchange of gifts, and exchange of bodily fluids (having sex). The Bible shows that they did all three of these.

You're crazy.
So any time two Jewish guys exchanged gifts they were married?
Any time two businessmen vowed an agreement they had tied the knot?
Had sex?
You're just a lying fagagandist. You're hellbound and don't care. How sad.

If they exchanged gifts, vows, or sex with the intent to be married, then yes, they were married.

And I have no need to lie, the truth is way too much fun!

You have a serious need to lie: You want the Word of God altered, to say what you wish it to say.
You cannot change it though.

You will stand before a Great White Throne one day. The things you will realize on that day - it would be better for you if you realized them now, in this life.

Silly, ignorant child, I repeat: I don't need to lie, the truth is so much more fun.

There is no verse in the Bible that when ACCURATELY translated, says that homosexuality is a sin. Just the opposite, the Bible CELEBRATES the same sex marriage of David and Johnathan in 1 Samuel.

Ah yes! Now you have to claim the Bible is "mistranslated" to make it say what you want it to say.

So tell me all about the translation where David and Jonathan got married, with a big CELEBRATION, you lying fagagandist.

And please tell me the correct translation of this verse:
Genesis 2:23-24
"And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."

Are you really so foolish as to think that ANY translation can ever be 100% accurate?

1 Samuel 18:1 And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.

18:3 Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.
18:4 And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle.

There is the vow, and the gift...

1 Samuel 20:16 So Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David, saying, Let the LORD even require it at the hand of David's enemies.
20:17 And Jonathan caused David to swear again, because he loved him: for he loved him as he loved his own soul.

And a renewal of those marriage vows. Ah, young love..

1 Samuel 20:41 And as soon as the lad was gone, David arose out of a place toward the south, and fell on his face to the ground, and bowed himself three times: and they kissed one another, and wept one with another, until David exceeded.

The word translated as "exceeded" was and still is used as a slang term for orgasmed. They embraced until David ejaculated.

I was aware fagagandists claim exceeded means ejaculated. It is a lie, but as long as few people have studied any Hebrew (which I doubt you have ever done) it will continue.
It is the serpent/devil that obscures the difference between love and lust. Thus, his pervert minions will claim any love between two men constitutes homosexuality.
The problem is not in the text. The problem is in your sick mind. You filter everything through a sick mind, producing a sick understanding. That is inevitable.
You need to repent, and find salvation. If you don't you will perish.

I am willing to bet that I know substantially more Hebrew than you...

Oh, I can agree that there is a difference between love and lust, but then, that is why I have been talking about the Bible's story of a gay MARRIAGE, rather than just demonstrating that thee is no commandment that calls homosexuality a sin. However, in the case of David and Johnathan, you have to really streach to try and pretend that it is NOT about gay love.

Why do you insist that the God of the Bible made a mistake?

Yeah, and you probably think you know more Hebrew than every orthodox rabbi.

No, Jonathan and David were not queer lovers. But if it looks that way to you, it's probably just the twisted mind you process information through.

It's like, if I post the name "Ramses" on here.
Someone else will respond that he was an Egyptian pharaoh.
You would respond with "condom!!!"

See how twisted minds skewer things?

Aparently, you are unaware that both Reform and Conservative Judaism currently allow same sex marriages. Last I heard, Orthodox did not - not for theological reasons, but because the prayer that they have been using refers to "husband and wife" and they are scared to change it. Silly, since the only thing that is forbidden to change is the Law itself.

Argue woith the Bible, not me. It says what it says.

Actually, my first thought would be to wonder why you are bringing up something as irrelevant as an Egyptian pharaoh. I haven't bought condoms in decades. Both my ex-wife and my former fiancee used birth control pills. I prefer to keep sex within commited relationships.

The.Bible says what it says alright.
The penalty for queerdom is death.
No we are not commanded to theonomy. But that is still God's law on Leviticus, and that is the penalty in His court.
He also pronounces severity on those call good evil, and call evil good.

You need to repent.

I have nothing to repent.

AS I have pointed out repeatedly, there is no verse in the Bible that accurately translates to say that homosexuality is a sin. None.

And no matter how many times you stamp your little feet, you cannot change the fact that the God of the Bible does not hate people just for who they love.

Nobody said God hates people.
Can the straw-man arguments, even though you are powerless without them.

You have made your position clear: That the Bible does not condemn homosexuality, and any verse I may cite showing that it does, you will simply claim is "mistranslated".

You have proven the only thing you can prove: That you are a dedicated fagagandist.
