Those Orthodox churches and monasteries in Kosovo are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Clinton does not have to raise the money, it will come from UNESCO. I have seen them, and they are breath taking beautiful with their frescoes and icons. So the world does not want to lose them.

..well, from the UN's point of view, they are in fact situated in a UN country, namely Serbia, but in view of this, Kosovar government might have an interest in preventing the UNESCO money from being used there.
