I'm not even going to read this article, the headline alone enforces my belief that RELIGION and GOVERNMENT should be separate. Religion has been the reason for more strife and war over the course of our existence.

By no means do I denounce anyone's belief in God, just organized and strict religious leanings are detrimental when forced on people or countries.

Mary Hammond wrote: <quoted text> You really ought to do a litte research before you condemn Catholics as you condemn yourself. I'm not catholic. My mother had me ritualistically "baptised" by the catholic church when I was a baby. then I grew up and was baptised by real followers of Jesus Christ. Bikers, even. You should really ask God for knowledge. It's amazing what He has to show us if we really want to know the truth. I don't live the life of the phony church-going, Bible thumping, fire and brimstone preaching hypocrites. I just pray that He guides me in my life and things always work out for the best. Even when it seems like things are hopeless, He always answers my prayers and gets me through it. I'm an average "joe" (no pun intended) with a great job, family, and friends and simply love Jesus. What about you? Do you go to mass and drink "blood" and eat "flesh"? I really don't want to know the answer to that so spare me. Just do yourself one favor. Forget all the religious mumbo-jumbo and sincerely ask Jesus to show you the truth. If you ask you will receive. Be prepared for the answers, though. Sometimes they're not what we thought they'd be. Peace to you and everybody else on this forum.

Joe Highley wrote: <quoted text>Wow. Did I call myself a Christian? I don't think I did since I know that the definition of Christian is Christ-like. I'm a LONG way from that. I just said that catholics are idol worshippers and that muslims are terrorists. I was baptised a catholic but got tired of being hit on and molested by the priests. Then I got to go to an evangelistic church. Talk about a ride on the wild side. Now I just trust the Holy Spirit to guide me from day to day. Yes, I believe that Jesus is the Messiah and that He died for my sins and that He lives. I also believe that killing people in the name of religion is wrong. That's why I don't think catholics are Christians. Don't even try to argue about it because I don't want to make you look like a fool in front of all of these people. I would say that living it is knowing it and that is what I "preach". How about you? What's your story, brother/sister? Here's a little taste of islam for you: "Seek out your enemies relentlessly." (Surah 4:103-) "Prophet make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home." (Surah 9:73) "Believers, make war on the infidels who dwell around you. Deal firmly with them." (Surah 9:121-) "Muhammad is God's apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another." (Surah 48:29) I think you got me confused with the wrong religion. joe, you have me confused with someone who gives a shit...

It's obvious you have know clear understanding of what Christians stand for, remeber the son of God? You like your ears tickled, you are seeking after your own God, which is in the likeness of the world. Who is your creator then? Men are the problem not GOD. Coming soon to a planet near you "The wrath of God" so look busy tickled ear.

There have been more Saints that have walked the earth then you'll ever fathom. Your world of "Biker's priestcraft for Jesus", Won't give you revelation. So go back to "Drinking beer and doing meth" as your sacrament and don't trivialize sacred things.
