The problem of Pakistani Army crackdown in East Pakistan was basically a political issue. Any body supporting separate country for that area was to be crushed down. I told you that This happened during my students days and the crackdown was projected as against all people of that area.

If it was only targeted against Hindus in East Pakistan, India was the first country to raise hue and cry against it and highlight the issue (as Darfur is being done these days). Some Hindus as supporters of Awami League must have been targeted and some Army officers would have acted on their own.

But I made it very clear that I condemn killing of any innocent person irrespective of his color, race, religion or language. The action of any one (May he be Muslim Army General or Head of State) is not supported by Islam.

What I said that in both Pakistan and Bangladesh , there is not parallel of RSS and BJP and their sister organizations, whose only job is create hatred against Muslims in India. None of these countries have a record like India of persistent communal riots. The events of 1970 were an exception and were not repeated. I India Gujarat was not an exception and it certainly is not the end.

Atrocities of Indian army in Kashmir are in itself a matter of investigation. How many thousands they have killed is not recorded, but they trump up atrocities against a few Brahmans there and then justify the whole operation going on there.

That is why I said, people use double standards. One to justify their action and another to condemn the action of other group. This double standard is the main reason of growth and persistence of Terrorism in every part of the world.

The only problem is that islam believes that the only "innocent people" are muslims. The rest of us are nothing and don't even deserve to live according to the words of your "prophet" and his followers:

Your knowledge of Quran and Hadith is exemplary. Have you read your own books also with the same close scrutiny?

I don't believe lot of things what you assume are true.
These kind of attack on Priest is remote. I'm born and bought up Catholic in India and I know the places I grow they will take law into hand if people/priest do something against the culture.
I have two sister-in-laws who are Hindus. Hindus as such are more tolerant of other religion than any other religious people. Hinduism having the concept of multiple Gods, the way I see is both my SILs don't have problem in worshiping Jesus and Mary. They go to church and attend Sunday mass even though my brothers don't do it regularly. They also follow their own religious festivals.
As such all the Christians in India are converts at some time. Most people converted in British time to Christianity because our grand parents received free education in those days.
I know there is hate towards Muslims in India because of Pakistani involvement. Where I grow, there is no such hate towards Christians. No one can HATE half the people in our own home. Sorry but you should remember Christianity is a eastern religion and not western.

Looking at my history, I know my great great Grandparents were Christians converted at some point. I don't want these kind of remote incident spreading hatred among our people like Hindu vs Christian. As such I have 2 sister-in-laws who are Hindus.
