Marriage ISN'T for all and some should maybe take some time to think about before taking that step.....and when one has so much time invested in a relationship like this couple does(25 years together, almost 4 years married)......maybe counseling might be looked at before calling it quits......just saying!!!

Oh and don't be surprised when the anti-gay folks make the comments they will.......unfortunately divorce happens....whether the couple be Gay, Lesbian or Straight......some folks just AREN'T meant for marriage!!!

God hates gays enough to destroy a whole town . It is an obomination of what is good . It is evil in the eyes of God.

What's an abomination and causes me "to destroy a whole town" is widespread bigotry, such as one finds in Reading, Pa. Why do you think I made it such a dump? From Wikipedia: "According to the 2010 census, Reading has the highest share of citizens living in poverty in the nation."

Think that's just a coincidence? Think again.

It's a divorce, not a wedding. Question. If this gay bishop is divorcing his husband is he the wife?

They like living that way . Shootings , drugs , abortions , homosexuality . God loves everyone but hates the sin . The wedding pictures of two guys or women kissing isn't news , it makes money for news . It took many years to bring it to the newspapers , hang around about fifty or so more years and you can write a rebuttal to what is said about it today .

Bp. Robinson's announcement was a bit strange.

He made a career out of being "the gay married Bishop"- he went around the country speaking about it, he wrote several books about it, he was subject of a documentary about it, he watched his denomination rupture over it, he got gigs like leading the prayer at the White House Easter breakfast because of it, he criticized other people and denominations for not agreeing with his choices-all quite public.

Now, he wants privacy.

"The Episcopal Church's first openly gay bishop, Gene Robinson, is divorcing his 'husband,' Mark Andrew.... Gene was the first to not only divorce his wife in favor of his boyfriend, but he and his wife went back to the church where they were married and did their own made up 'Divorce Liturgy' in which they solemnly released one another from their sacred vows.... Now Bishop Gene is the first to have divorced first a woman then a man. What a brave pioneer!"

Yeah,.... well,.... LOL .... there's rock and paper, too.

Some things work where other things don't. And they don't always work the way they are supposed to, either. Some things aren't supposed to work. But, sometimes, they work anyway, producing the desired results.

You can try to put labels on. But, you can't always make them stick. And you can even iron and sew them on. But, that doesn't mean the labels are always properly descriptive of what has been labeled.

Yup.

You reminded me that bumblebees aren't supposed to be able to fly according to certain experts.

Yet they do.

those experts were old wrong. bumblebees fly using sound and proven laws of physics...

the old science just didn't have the ability actually see how they use their wings...

no mystery there. no magic in this world..no miracles.
