1st Married Catholic Priest To Be Ordained Sunday

The headline is a little misleading... In 1995, there were 10 priests that were married and in union with Rome. All had similar stories of being Lutheran, Anglican or Episcopalian priests and then converted to Roman Catholicism. The stipulations were that they could never be parish pastors, nor can they marry again should their spouse die or divorce.(There is a BIG difference between a married clergy & a dating clergy.) However I know the pastor rule has been overlooked by some bishops. Also, it seems common that these men are ordained at the parish church where they will be working, versus the diocesan cathedral where the celibate priests are usually ordained.
