that's good. Because Filipinos are still poor. The Roman Catholic used them to their advantage and too many stealing of lands from the foreign countries because Filipinos mainly focus in on Catholic Church that no one lokk after their lands. Catholic Church did not benefits to all Filipinos. Their natural resources being used to make their " God Idols" and rake all the trees in the Philippines, in other parts of Asia, Marble stone being used to grave names for the dead people, the church makes a lot of money from the dead people by millions , billions or trillions of money and yet Philippines is poor.

Too many priest impregnated students in Catholic Church, too many priest are being immoral. Too many families are broken because of mistresses, extra marital affairs, stealing of lands, divorce, men abused wives, too many pimps, pedophiles , kids on drugs, wars, earthquakes, floods, etc. What does the Catholic do? Nothing! I guess this is all Roman Catholics is all about. Just marketing these countries for revenues to feed all those gross priests who abused kids for their sexuality. Over populations is good for the Catholic people not because God wants them. It's because they generates millions to billions of money thru buying Ivory, wood, Marbles for the dead peoples or for the peoples Idols God. Roman catholic is all about land grabbing ,over populations for revenues etc.

Does the Catholic Church own more land than beyond the land the church sits and housing for their priests and nuns? Does the Catholic church have an army of their own military personel going around taking land and the government closing their eyes to it? hahahaha of course not! hahahaha

The landgrabbing arguement is from more than 1000 years ago. Using that now is just ridiculous. I can guarantee that the Catholic Church has given a lot more than its taken. More so, the people of the Catholic faith.

INC claims this while they require tithes that their poor members can barely afford because they scare them they will not be saved and burn in the lake of fire. INC are money grabbers and it is much worse in our modern times than what some people did in the name of the Catholic Church hundreds of years ago.

While I find all organized religions to be scams, blaming the Roman Catholic Church for the poor in the Philippines is laughable.

Shortly after Spanish missionaries arrived, the Philippines saw the development of schools and hospitals. The many dialects of the Philippines were given a centralized language - Spanish. A legal system was established that likewise codified social behavior for all.

I do not dispute that the Church became so strong that it influences governance even today. There is no arguing that abuses occurred by Spanish conquistadors and their ancestors. Few would debate that the Spanish colonizers didn't see indigenous populations as inferior. None of that changes the fact that far too many Pinoys refuse to be accountable. Rather than seek a proper education and work, they depend on someone to care for them. These sloths create another generation of Pinoys who accept that life is about bitching rather than achieving. Complain about utility companies even though you hook up your squatter shack to free cable and electric. Complain about trapos but sell your vote for a phone load. Whine about pollution but then dump your waste in the street or waterway. Bitch and moan about the Church trying to regulate contraception but don't do your part to stop having kids you can't pay for.

Yeah, the Roman Catholic Church is the reason why the Philippines is stuck in the third world.(roll eyes)

Imagine if it was INC who had the influence that the Catholic Church does in Philippines. It would be a dictatorship and education would be way behind what it is now. There would surely be violence like never imagined as they would try to wipe out the population of other religions. It would be no surprise if they were a terrorist type country. Philippine people are probably actually quite fortunate in that sense.

But I also believe it is good that any church's power slips from political influence no matter if it is the Catholic Church or INC. Church and State should be separate for fairness and equality as long as it is a socialist or democratic society.

the only thing spain taught the filipinos that the filipinos learned and nurtured is the oligarchical system of rule.

the word democracy has no meaning here, but you have to call it something , so why not ?

beyond this one thing that the flips learned , they remain primitive, but for the trappings of the western world.

close off the filipins from the outside world and in less than 5 years there would probably be less than half the population and it would revert to the feudal system or worse.

truly the land that time forgot.

Is not the Roman Catholic are slipping away. Even the Christian Church like the Hour Power, Evangelical Church, Muslims , Scientology, etc. are also slipping because people don't believe anymore if there's God up there/ There's too many Wars around, too many other countries stealing lands, too many Corrupts leaders in this world, too many people died from wars, too many fake earthquakes, fake floods just to kill these people because of stupid braincells. Too many professionals are crooks, too many politicians are not going in the right directions, too many people around the world are too materialistic, too many people cares only about their sexuality, cares about money, too many people has mental problems like in USA, they killed those Children because of their stupid freedom of owning a gun. if they spent billions of money for Homeland security why do they need to carry gum? Too many men being irresponsible these days, taking dru=gs, rape women because of their sexual behavior, womanizer, alcoholic, these are stupid freedom created by GOD? There's no God! They are just using God as their excuses to believe their pathetic braincells. They go run after other countries to ruin them, to ruin their livelihood because of jealousy. Because they are mad , sick, insecuire people.. They fool too many people to get what they want, is that what God told you> i don't think so, you are all sick in this world, I hope one day, if there's really God out there, he would WASH OUT all the countries in the world because they are very uunrpoductive, all they do is to make troubles in this beautiful Universe, why can't be satisfied of what they have, why they have to slave people in order to get what they want, why they want to bully other kind of people, it's because they are superior? I don't think so, you are all dum in this Universe, you ruin people's farm, ruin their countries, ruin their livelihood, shame on you, stealing thier hard-earned money, stealing their natural resources, you are not being fair, what so great being civilized? who said your country is a civilized, and other countries are not> Do you call people civilized by killing them, shooting them randomly on the school, playground, everywhere, do you call yourself civilized when your so mean, rude, impolite, humiliate other people because of what? who said you are smart? if you are smart, you should be able to communicate properly? who said you are intelligent? Intelligent people knows how to response appropriately properly and not humiliate people, why are you stealing people's wives, why are you stealing people's husband, because you are bored and make troubles other people's lives? why are you bored? I thought you have everything in this world and yet you are not happy. What kind of reaching in the Church that men always abuse their wives, what kind of teaching in the Church that too many priest sexuallu abuse children, where is your God? what kind of God do you have? why is your God killed people, why is your God go to wars, why is your God creates earthquakes, I thought that if we live in this Universe we are suppose to enjoy the living things and the non- living things and why are you still not happy? because you are such a twister brain . Your braincells nedds to feed with good food not alcohol, not meat, not junk foods etc.

What One Roman Catholic Priest Does In The Wee Hours Of The Night:

Priest in sex scandal sacked
Full story: globalnation.inquirer.net

MANILA, Philippines—A Catholic priest from Dipolog City has been sanctioned and restricted to the convent for alleged sexual misconduct while serving in a United States parish.

Bishop Jose Manguiran of the Diocese of Dipolog has revoked the priestly offices and functions of Fr. Reynaldo M. Pardillada, 37, who is accused of having an illicit affair with a married Filipina while serving at the Epiphany Church in Cliffside Park, New Jersey.

Pardillada was last week expelled by the Archbishop of Newark after the New Jersey-based 32-year-old Filipino woman, who also happened to be from Dipolog, reported the affair to church authorities.

She said she finally summoned the courage to complain against Pardillada when he got her pregnant twice and forced her to abort the babies. She said she also suffered one miscarriage.

Lol,

God will be pleased only if you help sinners get informed of their false beliefs and which religion is subjecting them to false doctrines!!!

Again, purgatory is another false doctrine and colossal racket of the Roman Catholic Church!!! It is a fabrication and with no biblical foundation:

"Nowhere in the Scripture does the word, "Purgatory", occur".

Reference: Kenney, Joseph A., C.SS.R. Purgatory: Doctrine of Comfort and Hope, p. 2. Catholic Information Network, 1996.

"Purgatory, like Mass, has no foundation in Holy Scripture. Christ and the first Christians never talked about it and never knew of its supposed existence." (p. 44)

Reference: Vinet, Lucien. I Was A Priest, p. 44. Australia: Protestant Publications, 1951.

"The doctrine was proclaimed an article of faith in 1438, by the Council of Florence, and was later confirmed by the Council of Trent, in 1548. But does any intelligent person believe that if such a palce as purgatory is described in the Bible it would have taken the church fathers 600 years to discover it, and another 1,000 years to confirm it?"

Reference : Boettner, Loraine. Roman Catholicism. p. 229. Pennsylvania, U.S.A.: The Presbyterian and Reformed Publishing Company, 1962.

Why don't you ask your graven images and miraculous saints to tell people as to the exact location of this Roman Catholic fabrication known as "Purgatory"???

Where in the Bible does the word Philippines occur?

Does that mean the Philippines does not exist?

Ah yes, there it is...another defrocked priest who wound himself bitter at not being able to marry and have children. The INC loves to quote them but ignores former ministers of their cult who speak the truth about their scam.

It is pretty funny that you quote a Presbyterian here. The reformist movement targets the Iglesia ni Cristo too. Have you researched that or should I just provide some of their quotes about your cult?

In almost every INC home you will find photo shrines of Felix and Erano. The statue of Felix is often adorned by flowers from his foolish cult followers. Those things must be graven too.

Cretin Atheist,

The Philippines exists in the Bible as the prophesied "islands of the sea in a far country in the east":

"Therefore in the east give glory to the LORD; exalt the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea. From the ends of the earth we hear singing." (Is. 24:15-16, New International Version)

"From the far east will I bring your offspring, and from the far west I will gather you." (Isaiah 43:5, Moffatt Translation)

"Calling a bird of prey from the east, the man eho executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it." (Is. 46:11, NKJV)

Where exactly in the vast Far East would the messenger begin preaching God's words so that people from Catholicism and Protestantism would be set free? There may be many countries like Japan, Burma, Indonesia, and Korea which also lie in the area known as the Far East, but the Bible gives a further prophecy which dramatically narrows the range of places in which the prophecy would occur:

"Therefore in the east give glory to the LORD; exalt the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea. From the ends of the earth we hear singing." (Is. 24:15-16, New International Version)

So, the fulfillment of the prophecy of the preacher from the Far East and the children of God would be in a nation composed of islands that recognize the God of the Bible.
The Church of Christ upholds that the fulfillment of this prophesied messenger is Brother Felix Y. Manalo, the man who began preaching the Church of Christ in the Philippines. Is the Philippines--where the Church of Christ was preached by Brother Felix Y. Manalo--a country in the Far East composed of islands? According to World History, "The Philippines were Spain's share of the first colonizing movement in the Far East; the name means the 'islands of Philip.'" (vol. 2, p. 445)

All Roman Catholics, U.C.C.P., Christian Missionary Alliance, Aglipayans, Atheists, Protestants, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Bereans, "Ang Dating Tumbong Doon" K.Y.J. Eli Fernando Soriano, Baptists, Seventh-day Adventists, Evangelicals, Charismatics, Spurious Born-again, Presbyterians, Orthodox, 700 Bar Club members, Episcopalians, Methodists, Branch Davidians, members of the American cults, skeptics, agnostics, and those outside of the true Church of Christ (Iglesia ni Cristo) must improve their low I.Q.s!!!
