True spirituality is not derived from a book.<quoted text>
I think man creates war, strife, anger, grief, and shame, not religion. Out in t middle of t ocean in t Pacific, lived a ppl (Tongan) so far and isolated from t rest of t world, it took a couple of thousand years before we were discovered n though we came from biggest nation on earth t Pacific ocean, however t elements didn't keep us from creating a maritime empire n yes it was achieved through war strife anger grief n shame still. It wasn't unti Christian religions entered into t picture n our ancestors started to develop a knowledge n relations w t God of Abraham Issac n Jacob, when peace began to cover t land.
These wars you've mentioned have been prophesied long ago as t signs of times when t second coming of t Messiah will occur, yes it was foretold that t hearts men will grow cold, n war will plague t land. However, like u my faith n hope in mankind is still bright. Peace!!!!!
Like other Polynesian Islanders, you have been robbed of your heritage, bamboozled.
Tonga mythology was replaced by a religion that claims humans are wicked sinners, corrupt, fallen, hopeless without the biblical God -- the world an evil, immoral place. Is this better than what your ancestors taught? Are these healthy beliefs?
What makes people chase their tails, claim authority on theological issues, argue issues like faith -vs- works or demean each other, when they could be pursuing individual spiritual growth?
Everything is in YOU, not a book or church.
