Powell is loyal to his race, not his party. He says Americans want to pay more taxes. He is not a republican. He is a democrat. Powell is trying to stir things up in the republican party. Ignore him.

Make him ambassador to Afghani goats! You can't name one thing Powell has flipped on. Supporting one view on one issue and another view on ANOTHER issue is not flip flopping. Its called having independent judgment instead of blindly following what talk show hosts to you to you idiot.

Powell is not really a Republican and is a prime example of why the Republican party lost the last elections. He supported Obama and that was either a racial thing or a Democrat thing, now a liberal Supreme Court nominee. I wish he would just get it over with and switch parties he is giving Republicans a really bad name. But again maybe that is his plan.

Powell is the one who went on CNN and trashed another Republican to defend a Democrat. Yeah? Joe Lieberman campaigned with John McCain. He's in the Democratic camp. He has enemies, but he's here. Remember Zell Miller? He was tolerated too. General Powell is a registered Republican. Do you have to like him? No. But you need his vote, and the votes of Republicans who think like him. Throw them out, and we'll have Democratic Senators from Texas again. Just like the days of LBJ!

I guess Powell has a personal grudge against Limbaugh and that's why he goes out of his way to carry on a debate with him in the pro-Obama lib news media. Maybe Powell should sit down and have a face-to-face talk with Limbaugh and get some of his anger off his chest. Limbaugh attacked Powell on his show. Powell's words are a response. You missed this too?

It's not supposed to be an effort to put together the purest conservatives. Save that for your PACS & foundations. The zealots are blinded by arrogance and hubris. So they'll lose in 2010 and 2012 too. A house divided... The solution for the GOP probably entails the rise of leaders strong enough to put the likes of Limbaugh, Hannity, et al in their proper place to ensure a winning coallition. Is this the same colin powell that went before the UN and World decrying Iraq and saying we SHOULD Attack them because they had Weapons of Mass Destruction, Mobile weapons labs, centrifuges, etc? Just want to make sure we've got the same "credible" guy since we found all of that in iraq! This moron is all over the map. Today he also said Obama was Wrong to borrow and spend like this too! Rush Limbaugh illegally used and abused oxycoton to the point of losing his hearing; and yet this is the obese piece of [expletive] whose word you pathetic right-wing fools will elevate above a General who spend his entire life to protecting this nation. Don't get me wrong, I love that you right-wing nuts are suffering and infighting but it just amazes how stupid and gullible you guys are; following the wrong people.
