And there is a 3 investor which the Baltimore Sun haven't mentioned.
Casino slots at Bowie will not work because when a development company built houses adjacent to the track the Homeowners association put a stop to Bowie Races stating a traffic problem and the entrance to the track cause to much noise. because the road into the track goes through the Subdivision. Now the track is being used as a training track and horses are stabled there.Bowie Race Track is better then Laruel and Pimlico combined.
Be interesting to see how this plays out.
As far as slots at the Mall it is out, merchants will not go along with it., I agree.
PennNation Gaming plans to build a casino in Cecil County MD not far from the old Havadegrase race track. Land has been purchased by Penn National and they are in the permit progress to go foward.

Cornish and Angelos- two fat cat business people who want to make a lot more money off the backs of Marylanders. Miller and O Malley must be shaking their head over the slots initiative. They did everything they could to force Marylanders to buy this initiative. Marylanders, wake up, politicians and fat cats are not on your side.

Senator Miller has done very little to help Maryland horse men and women. He is more interested in the future of the Harbor than to helping the horse industry.

Horsemen and women wake up: Miller is not on your side!
