In your dreams, Gill. So you want to ADD to the already Hwy 68 corridor between Monterey and Laguna Seca?? Your shuttle bus system is pathetic and inadequate for the masses who show up.
Meanwhile every local who isn't a race fan suffers from the hoards of rude, nitro-hyped, yahoos who invade the beautiful serene Monterey Peninsula.
I say "thumbs down" Gill

This is the same sort of criticism we heard about the U.S. Open at Pebble beach, except the targets were rich, white golf fans. The "rude, nitro-hyped yahoos" who "invade" the Monterey Peninsula support our tourism industry, restaurants and other businesses and event revenues help our charitable organizations provide services to thousands of needy children and families. Over the years SCRAMP has donated millions of dollars to local charities. I say "thumbs up" to Laguna Seca!

The track has been a valuable part of the Peninsula since 1957. That's amazing! I welcome the visitors it brings, as do most working and community-minded folks I know.
