The "experts", old F-1 winners change their mind after every few races... If Kimi winns in Valencia next weekend all will be praising him as the strongest candidate for the title.
It will be a tough end for the season for all top 3 drivers: Hamilton, Kimi and Massa. No mistakes can be made. And some good luck is needed. Kimi is still strongly fighting for the title, but has to improve the qualifying: with a Ferrari, and in order to be able to win, you just have to be in the 1st row (or at least within the 4 best).
Hamilton most likely will fail in the crucial moments, especially if Kovalainen can put pressure on him and be faster in qualifying, or in some races. Kimi has good nerves, but has been too relaxed throughout the summer. Now he sees he really has to start focusing on driving again, and he's full of fighting spirit. It's too long he won the last time: he's moment to show his skills is Valencia, and he'll be ready.
Let's see what the "experts" like Lauda or Berger say then! The best result for Valencia: 1. Kimi 2. Kovalainen 3. Alonso (something for the crowd to cheer about).

I think this redneckbob guy just can't stand the fact that there is a brazilian guy fighting for the championship while there is no single american in the formula one.

Hey dufus, if you bother to read a little further, you will probably find out that I am one of the few out on this forum who has been punting Felipe Massa to win the championship. I think he has more talent in his left pinkie finger than most of those clowns out there have in total, and he certainly has shown it. But of course idiots like Chrissy girl will dispute it, he's still living in the believe that that loser Mika is going to make a comeback.

I guess there in the Dutchie Antilles you lot have had too much wind blown up your ass by the hurricaners to think logically.

Praat later.

i'm with you on Massa. if he keeps driving like he has the past 2 gp's he will cinch the championship. Hamilton doesnt stand a chance against Massa, let alone even close to his abilities. Massa is WAY better than Hamilton.

cant wait, only a couple more weeks for the SG GP!

Ah David, nice to have another cabana boy worshitter on board. I've been singing his praises since he started with Ferrari in 2006, he had an average year last season, but has really come alive this season. Sure he's had his ups and down (umm Silverstone) but he is one very exciting driver to watch out there, with character and passion galore. I really wish he does it, he certainly has the scales tipping in his favour, Gooooooooo felipe!!!!!! One at a time. Just pray the rain stays away, I'd hate to see the repeat of his Sea-Doo adventures again, but I reckon that was a one off, I've seen him do pretty well on wet tracks before (Monaco 2008 and Nurburgring 2007).

i was a schuy fan his whole career. last year is when i started to enjoy watching massa drive. gotta admit alonso too.. to an extent. but kimi, what has happened to him this year? hamilton, while yes he is a good driver, is not all that. not worth all the hype. he is made out to be the next schuy. he isnt close.

not just the rain. ferrari. that cost him 10pt. LOL i was on pins last week (valencia) praying to not see a repeat of budapest. on the bright side hamilton went from pole to finishing 5th.

imo i think heikki is one to watch as he matures. his record in GP2 and F3 were impressive.

let's not forget that Kimi came from a 17 point deficit with onl 3 races to go and became the champion in 2007...

Yeh, Like ferrari had nothing to do with that.... they never had a deal with mclaren or the FIA to let 1 of the ferrari drivers win the world title, Kimi won a title that was tainted..... No one loses 17 points in 2 races at the end of the season when the world title is on the line... with out some sort of cause, and that cause was ferrari, if lewis would have been removed from the world championship, that would of caused apraw, so they had to find another way of doing that didnt make ferrari look like the bad guys, and what better way of doing it than making it it look as if mclaren and lewis made all the mistakes.. Look at last season on the whole, lewis's 2 worst races were at the very end....

"no one loses 17 points in 2 races to go at the end of a season when the world title is on the line" ..... hey short ass, were you not able to see the TV screen, did you fall off your pillow and could not get up high enough to see the pictures, becasue if you had you would have seen that your hero Hamilton did exactly that. He blew it, he threw it away, he croaked, choked and F***ed up all in 2 races. And I was thinking only the Alonso worshitters dreamed up conspiracy theories ... you are just a plain and simple idiot.

What will the excuse be this season midget boy, who will you blame when Hamilton chokes again? Only 6 races to go, croaking time is fast approaching......tick tock tick tock

thanks for taking care of that! hamilton totally choked. and he is already showing signs of another failure this season.

GO MASSA!

i digress, but...
remember when villenuve was driving and he would complain about schuy every race because schuy would beat him. making accusations about schuy and excuses for his loss. LOL heck he even ran his own teammate (MASSA) off the road (german gp?). and another race he went off the road and blamed it on schuy.

David you mean kind of like the Alonso worshitters went off about Kimi's pit stop in Hungary, and the fact that he made up 3 odd seconds on the old John Deere driver???????

IF! He chokes again, there are no excuses, there was that much scandal and sh*t thrown around last year, i think anything is possible, especially when you consider the power that ferrari have over f1, Mclaren would have been in no position to argue as that would of meant they would have been thrown out of the world championship for years to come, its easier to give away 1 world title than 2 or 3. Although you are all forgetting that mclaren have no reliabilty issues. Mclaren are catching ferrari in the constructers, and lewis is leading the world chanpionship, i would be less worried about Mclaren and lewis choking and more worried about your ferraris getting to the end of a grandprix, when it matters most in a season, mclaren are stronger than ferrari at this point in the season, and that is fact...
