Who else besides Jr could have the stats he's got and still have a fulltime ride with a top team and sponsor? Nascar treats him and JJ different from most other drivers and if you don't see that, open your eyes. And, as long as Tony brings in the big $$$, he might be a part of that elite group, too.
If you're a Jr fan then you know he actually got a concussion when he wrecked testing a few weeks earlier. Tony wasn't anywhere near him. Jr didn't report symptoms because he didn't want to be miss the start of the Chase.
The Dr determined the incident in Talladega probably aggravated Jr's previous injury, and that's why he sat out 2 races anyway. BTW, how responsible was it for Jr drive with a concussion a couple of weeks, and putting other drivers as well as himself in danger?

They really need to rename this Dale Jr. forum . Count how many times Smokes name gets mentioned . Then count how many times Jr.name comes up . ROTFLMFAO!!!
#52 Mar 30, 2013
It still did not give Tony the right to block and wreck the field and
then run his mouth Sunday because he got blocked.Well Jeff Burton and
Truex has top team rides and I don't see them winning.Jr is a money-maker for who ever he drives for. Money Talks BS walks......

Jr got his 1st concussion testing in Kansas however he got his 2nd concussion (not probably aggravated previous injury) at Talladega. 2 concussions in a six week period is what sidelined Jr.
Many drivers have driven with concussions and they all admitted it after this all came to light.
#54 Mar 31, 2013
Guess you didn't notice that Truex finished 11th in last year's Chase, ahead of .....c'mon, say it with me.....Jr. Oh, I know you want to think it's because Jr missed a couple of races, but we will never know for sure if that would even have made a difference, will we?
#55 Mar 31, 2013
Since I don't follow Jr's career that closely, I depended on an internet search for the phrase 'aggravated previous injury' which you seem to take exception with.
I don't doubt that Jr took a couple of hard hits, and although he did not report symptoms or seek medical attention after the KS crash, I don't doubt it's possible that he may have suffered 2 concussions in 6 weeks. I do not have a medical degree, but it seems plausible to me that it is entirely possible that he may very well have aggravated a previous condition.
I have accepted the argument 'because everybody does it' as a good reason to do it too.

I have never accepted the argument 'because everybody does it' as a good reason to do it too.

Looks like Mark Martin will only be driving the 11 this w/e, then Brian Vickers will be in the drivers seat until Denny is released to drive.
I think that's a good thing - Brian is a little more aggressive than Mark and might be able to keep the team more competitive for owners points.
Still sad Denny will miss competing at his "home track".

This little troll just cannot help but make comments about Dale Jr no matter which driver the topic is about!! I think this little troll should just get a life!

Why is Tony Stewart’s foundation for disabled children supporting a prison program led by a convicted child killer?
ICAN is a prison dog-training program Stewart supports and high-profile child killer Melinda Loveless is an active dog trainer there. Melinda masterminded the 1992 kidnapping, torture, and murder (burned alive) of 12-yr-old Shanda Sharer.
Fellow inmate and assisted murderer of Shanda, Hope Rippey was in the ICAN program and was released early under suspicious circumstances.
Search:“Hope Rippey”+”Early Release”
ICAN’s mission statement is, violent offenders are not allowed in their program. So why is Melinda, and Hope before her in this program? Indiana prisons are overflowing with non-violent offenders, so better choices are available.
There is no way Tony does not know about Melinda and Hope with his active support and participation with this prison program.
