Hamas orders Gaza to ignore January polls

The Islamist movement Hamas said on Wednesday Palestinians in the Gaza Strip must not take part in elections scheduled for January by President Mahmoud Abbas or face persecution.

Hamas invaded Gaza, expelling Fatah forces and is now the Occupier of Gaza, Isreal left Gaza five years ago and only went back in when bombarded by Hamas rockets daily for 5 years! That fact seems to have escaped the Palestinians and J Street.

Moron...only you speak for you. Germany supports Israel for the most part. Hamas and Hezbollah support only Hamas and Hezbollah. They don't speak for the Palestinians. The Pals are poorly represented by such as these...as Germany is poorly represented by such as you.

And the "Palestinians"? I guess their voice doesn't get heard after all, not accurately anyways.

Israel has been largely very patient with such piss poor neighbors.

You are oh so right! Hamas only has Hamas's interests at heart.

The Pals can't even unite within their own ranks, how will they ever establish anything else at this rate? Fatah is at least relatively moderate by way of comparison.

Once they establish who is actually in power, maybe Israel might have something semi-legitimate to negotiate with (not that I would choose to do so...I would toss them all out). Piss poor neighbors. Maybe their Arab country cousins would want them back, what do you think? Doubtful.
