Anger among Palestinians over President Mahmoud Abbas's original position on a Gaza war report critical of Israel has cost him public support in a rivalry with Hamas, a poll showed on Sunday.

There is only one Palestinian Leader: King Abdullah of Jordan (the larger part or most of what was the British Palestine Mandate). But this Heshimite King refuses his responsibility to bring his people home to Jordan.

I suppose you believe that Mexico still should be responsible for the Mexicans who were annexed into America when we took control of the Southwest from them?? Some things just don't make sense when put into perspective.

Eleanor, are you saying the size and situations of America's Southwest and Israel's is comparable? What in the world have you been studying? Or maybe you're not good with maps?

If you think it is about size, you are sadly mistaken. The situation in America's SW is that the land formerly belonged to Mexico, but Mexico no longer has a responsibility to those people. Same is true for Jordan. Jordan (Transjordan) no longer has a responsibility to the people (Palestinians) outside its boundaries. Therefore, the theory of Jordan being responsible to the Palestinians is faulty. That is the comparison.
