The U S says how they are supporting Democracy, but as The Palestinians get more Democratic, The Israelis get more Repressive and The U S and Their Zionist Infected State Department are Strangely Quiet. When it comes to Israel The U S hasn't The Political Will to Condemn Those Actions and even are actually instigators and Democracy is an empty shallow tlking Point for their Propaganda Purposes!

Condemn what actions clown???
Palestinians have had many chances to have their own identity but have refused every offer Israel has given them. This is what the article is about and NOT your anti-Semitic garbage!
Nobody can seriously argue that Israel has not been committed to fruitful negotiations, or the painful concessions which they invariably entail. Generous offers of Palestinian statehood were forthcoming from Ehud Barak in 2000 and Ehud Olmert in 2008, and they were met with rejection on both occasions.
Even Benjamin Netanyahu - a "hawk" by many people's standards - made the unprecedented step of freezing settlement construction for ten months, though that too failed to entice the Palestinian negotiators.
To all but those blinded by their hatred for the Jewish state, it is abundantly clear that the Palestinian Authority - not Israel - has killed the Oslo Accords.
Thus, Israel is both legally and morally unbound by its previous obligations. And in the absence of a framework for peace to which the Palestinians are willing to adhere, it is the prerogative of the Israeli people to act in their own best interests.
For their part, Palestinians will have to live with the consequences of their leaders' transgression.
They do NOT want to live in peace!! The ultimate goal is the destruction of Israel idiot!!
What I don't like is the continued bashing of Israel that you clowns love to do. You're all a bunch of crazed Muslims with nothing better to do than to use your childish mentality to demean the ONLY country in the Middle East that doesn’t take OUR Foreign Aid and bank the money in private accounts while their people suffer (Remember Arafat??), support terrorists, harbor terrorists, buy arms for terrorists or use it for building Mosques as they incite hatred toward the good old USA. The outright lies, distortions and propaganda are what I'm going after. The Jews’ willingness to compromise on territory was demonstrated not only by their acquiescence in the UN’s 1947 partition plan, which gave them a state with squiggly, indefensible borders, but even by their earlier acceptance of the 1937 Peel Commission partition plan, which gave them nothing more than a part of the Galilee and a tiny strip along the coast. Yet the Arab nations, refusing to accept any Jewish sovereignty in Palestine even if it was the size of a postage stamp, unanimously rejected the 1937 Peel plan, and nine years later they violently rejected the UN’s partition plan as well. When the Arabs resorted to arms in order to wipe out the Jews and destroy the Jewish state, they accepted the verdict of arms. They lost that verdict in 1948, and they lost it again in 1967, when Jordan, which had annexed the West Bank in 1948 (without any objections from Palestinian Arabs that their sovereign nationhood was being violated), attacked Israel from the West Bank during the Six Day War despite Israel’s urgent pleas that it stay out of the conflict. Israel in self-defense then captured the West Bank. The Arabs thus have no grounds to complain either about Israel’s existence (achieved in ’48) or about its expanded sovereignty from the river to the sea (achieved in ’67).

The Arabs have roiled the world for decades with their furious protest that their land has been “stolen” from them. One might take seriously such a statement if it came from a pacifist people such as the Tibetans, who had quietly inhabited their land for ages before it was seized by the Communist Chinese in 1950. The claim is laughable coming from the Arabs, who in the early Middle Ages conquered and reduced to slavery and penury ancient peoples and civilizations stretching from the borders of Persia to the Atlantic; who in 1947 rejected an Arab state in Palestine alongside a Jewish state and sought to obliterate the nascent Jewish state; who never called for a distinct Palestinian Arab state until the creation of the terrorist PLO in 1964—sixteen years after the founding of the state of Israel; and who to this moment continue to seek Israel’s destruction, an object that would be enormously advanced by the creation of the Arab state they demand. The Arab claim to sovereign rights west of the Jordan is only humored today because of a fatal combination of world need for Arab oil, leftist Political Correctness that has cast the Israelis as “oppressors,” and, of course, good old Jew-hatred.

Cutting off the utility service to the bomb making terrorists of Gaza would be an excellent first step. One more vital measure would be for the USA to eliminate the billion or so in direct foreign aid provided to the militants and their cronies. It is absolutely vulgar that the US taxpayers are funding our sworn enemies just to appease a noisy and subversive element within our own population.

Here they are... The Zionist Rulers playing God with Palestine again. Threaten, abuse, harm, kill, in prison, torture and repress. When will this abuse stop ? When will Israel stop having the right to commit genocide on the Palestinians?

When will people stand up to Zionism. This is sick and twisted. Controlling their food, water and so forth.

God judges our actions, and he will judge the actions of the Zionists, you can count on that.

The genocide in the Middle East is by Muslims and against Christians.

The murder in the Middle East is by Islamofascist dictators like Assad, Qadaffi and Hussein who are killing other Muslims.

The Muslim population in Palestine is growing and Israel has a right to defend itself from the Islamofascist tyranny that threatens freedom.

Wall Street Journal Notes Hamas-Hezbollah Shift Toward Non-Violent Resistance

Holy S*!t Batman, who’d a thunk the Wall Street Journal would write anything positive about Hamas and Hezbollah?? A report today notes a shift in tactics by Hamas and Hezbollah toward non-violent resistance in recognition of the fact that violence tends to generate sympathy for Israel and non-violence tends to generate violence by Israel–and hence sympathy for the Palestinian cause:

"Hamas and Hezbollah, groups that have long battled Israel with violent tactics, have begun to embrace civil disobedience, protest marches, lawsuits and boycotts—tactics they once dismissed.

For decades, Palestinian statehood aspirations seemed to lurch between negotiations and armed resistance against Israel. But a small cadre of Palestinian activists has long argued that nonviolence, in the tradition of the American civil rights movement, would be far more effective.

Officials from Hamas, the militant group that controls the Gaza Strip, point to the recent Israeli raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla, in which Israeli troops killed nine activists, as evidence there is more to gain by getting Israel to draw international condemnation through its own use of force, rather than by attacking the country.

“When we use violence, we help Israel win international support,” said Aziz Dweik, a leading Hamas lawmaker in the West Bank.“The Gaza flotilla has done more for Gaza than 10,000 rockets.”

I think this underlies a tectonic shift in if not public support, at least growing public sympathy for the cause of Palestinian statehood and disenchantment with the Occupation and Israeli policy. Even only a few months ago you simply would not have seen such a report in WSJ. You still won’t likely see it in the NY Times. Certainly, no one can accuse the WSJ of going weak in the knees over the Palestinian cause. Which makes such reporting all the more remarkable....

....Salah Bardawil, a Hamas lawmaker in Gaza City, says Hamas has come to appreciate the importance of international support for its legitimacy as a representative of the Palestinian people and its fight against Israeli occupation, and has adapted its tactics. Hamas hasn’t claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing in years and now denounces the tactic as counterproductive. Since an Israeli military incursion into the territory in December 2008-January 2009, it has also halted rocket attacks into Israel.

“Hamas used to believe [international support] was just empty words,” said Mr. Bardawil.“Today it is very interested in international delegations … and in bringing Israeli officials to justice through legal proceedings.”

These are almost precisely the same words used to describe the PLO in the period preceding 1988 when it renounced violence and recognized Israel. While I am not claiming that the PLO’s political evolution and Hamas’ will be the same; or that they have similar political agendas–I do think that just as Fatah underwent a political transformation during this period, so Hamas has and will continue to evolve politically. No one in their right mind would predict that Palestinian militants will turn against violence, but we just may be seeing a tipping point that augurs well on that score. Of course, much of this depends on Israel’s actions. Another war could throw all of these gains out the window and we shouldn’t put something like this past Bibi and the gang. But I tend to think that events militate against a return to full-scale armed conflict and terror at least from the Palestinian side."
