There is much more to these stories than improper care. I know for a fact that some of the Dawson providers give the type of care found in top notch private practices. The inmates lie, have serious diseases such as high blood pressure, heart conditions, hepatitis. They won't take their medicine. It's pityful the things people say about a few that really care, and try to keep those criminals healthy.

I don't agree with you at all. There are many cases of complete disregard for inmate health, security, human rights, civil rights, and religious freedoms. Having been on BOTH sides of this argument I have a very unique point of view unlike you. Its clear you are or were some sort of staff therefore you have no idea how it feels to be very very sick and ignored. Have you ever gone days (8 days) without more than a very few hours of sleep? Been starved, offered no more than a piece of cheese and 2 pieces of bread, because you are not able to consume pork because of your religious beliefs? Until you have lived both sides of the fence you should not pass ANY judgements. I don't care what crime you commit (State Jail Crimes are none violent) you do not deserve to pull your still born infant from a toilet.
