The handwringers and other assorted criminal apologists were able to convince the dopes who vote in this state to water down a very effective three strikes law. A law that came about because people were fed up with crime. In a few years, after the crime rate goes back up the same dopey voters will be scratching their heads wondering where it all went wrong.

We didn't elect politicians who gave a crap about public safety. But, we are forced to pay the prison guards Union over three times as much as they make in other States.

Wealthy Big Teachers are high paid Government agents. As long as the ruling political class is able to divert more and more hard earned taxpayer money into the pockets of self-serving organized Big Teachers - obsessively "to help the children" - there will never be enough hard earned taxpayer money left over to pay the cost of incarcerating the finished products of the expensive taxpayer funded Government "education" system.
