My son is there at that Coalinga, is he going to come home in coffin because the state of california wants to make money off of him rather than protecting them, we are all humans being and half of those prisoner's should not even be there. I hope that all of those prisoner's file a lawsuit with the state of california for their lack of care for them, they would rather protect the animals then human life so sad. I WILL GET A LAWYERFR MY SON

My Husband is in Avenal and says some inmates have been moved but he is still there. For the judicial system to brag on "laws being made without prejudice" I can't tell. If an enviornment is unsafe for a human they should be moved from that enviornment even if they weren't law obiding citizens. Looks like a class action law suit in the making. If they make it out alive to receive it!

I have no one in the prisons but ALL prisoners are at risk. Let's not pretend that Caucasians don't get this, get hospitalized, have lung lobes removed, have meningitis, etc. and can die. It's high time that California, Arizona and other SW states recognized a problem that sickens and kills people and got funding for serious research, vaccines, and a cure. Just moving some people doesn't cut it. I know. I'm in AZ, a caucasian female, 1:64 Titer, 2 lung biopsies, lung lobectomy, drugs for life. My immune system was tested as "fantasitic" by a specialist, so it isn't that either. I breathe. That's all it takes. To keep anyone there in the prison is immoral.
