Since they are not day centers and all they do is render services, then each city can designate their individual probation services center and county supervised probation service officers can schedule weekly services and travel to that center. It will be more efficient and all records will be centralized at one location like the County Office in Fairfield.

I don't believe parolees should remain in their own city where unemployment and crime are problems for the population and government. They are just adding to the criminal population and it increases the likelihood that they will break parole.

80% to 90% of the people who go to the DRC will commit another crime.

What the article said is that prior to the research it was unknown what percentage of all crimes were committed by parolees--two very differnet issues.

helllo? close to 50 of the parolees are already here, the county cannot dictate what city returned felons can or cannot live in. this is the best chance we have of slowing down the rate of recidivism. i look forward to the ocunty getting this going asap.

If 80% to 90% recidivism is your idea of success I have a bridge
for sale you should buy.

What neigborhood do you live in . We will try to get the DRC to be your neighbor. Then we will see how much support they get from you. You sound like a probation officer looking for work near home.

if they live in the crest or other neighborhoods where the lovely members of the community are, then this is old home week and they probably wouldn't know the difference ?
