Prisoners need someone to wrote:
My brother is in the Pendleton Correctional Facility and he was charged with robbery at a local grocery store, trespassing when he was younger in my sister apartments, possession of marijuana, and escape because he ran away from the police twice with handcuffs on he is no saint but he have never physically hurt anyone and was given 40 years because they ran all this together that is pretty much life almost. My point is dumb ass he do not deserve to be executed he has a torn knee and a burned back and has been bullied and in fights with guards and had his teeth knocked out all because of him speaking his mind some people in these prisons are not the worst people in the world they just made dumb choices when they were younger no one is perfect it's just everyone don't get caught even stilling a peice of candy is wrong and a bad choice.
that is so wrong of these CO to be able to do this they get paid to take care of them not mistreat them something need to be done And about your brother getting 40 that bull shit what's wrong with Oregon laws molester get less time It's saying it's ok to molester in kids or rape in Oregon but don't robe any one you'll get long time it should be the other way around

yes i think an inmate depending on the charge and how many points they have for good conduct should be allowed to USE a cell phone once maybe twice a week as a reward for keeping there asses out of trouble. if this was allowed maybe just maybe there would,nt be so many fights. the inmates are people just like you and me and should be given the benafit of dought.

what about the wrongfully accused??? Are they scum also? the scum are the ones who lie and make up accusations to hurt someone, they cant help what the system has done to them, hence, "over crowding!!" think before you speak please

Funny how when the person is committing a crime the public is in a major rant to get the duck off the streets. But once that freak has been convicted and sent to prison all you hear is what an unjust system and what poor souls they are. Well I've worked in a state prison for 27 years now and th majority of these "poor souls" are where they belong ! You bleeding hearts should hire them for your buisness' or baby sit your kids if you think they are such wonderful just misguided souls. Yeah that's what I thought...

People change, because of a mistake execute them all, huh? I was incarcerated at the reformatory for several years on drug and other charges. I was released in 2004. In the last 13 years I have sent to college, received my honorary doctorate in divinity and started three churches, as well as Pastor a church in northern Texas. It hasn't been easy and my past still pokes it's head up. I have helped many addicts and convicts over the years, I have worked with the juvenile probation department where I live, ministered in Huntsville correctional facility for a couple years, and even prayed with the governor. Thank God you were not the one passing down my sentence. People change, even though not the majority. I pray you find a greater measure of grace and mercy with His then you divy out. God bless you my friend.
