I just found a profile for Dante Sutorius on Facebook, it mentions Columbus, Ohio as her town, and has a few recent (April 2010) comments as if made by her, including that she has a brain tumor. I thought she was still incarcerated at the ORW in Marysville, does anyone know?

I created the Facebook page for Dante and have since taken it down. We were communicating up until a couple months before she died of a brain tumor. She had some things she wanted to say and Facebook was a good way to do it. Her daughter is still on Facebook, but they were not close at all.

Just because a person is convicted does not mean they are guilty. I have never believed that she killed her husband. She may not have been a perfect angel, but I don't believe she could have killed anyone. She was a kind, sweet woman. I miss her.

I was a bunkie of sutorious in the year of 08 and I am saddened to look her up today, to find that she has passed away. Me sharing a bunk with her I can say she wa very quiet soft spoken, kept to herself and hardly came out of the room for anything, she rarely came to chow. So if though the state never freed her, she is now free. May your soul rest in peace.

Jim miller.. You are the kind of person who falls in love with prisoners. Did you read her book... She killed her husband and tried to kill others before him. She is a convicted murderer, was a convicted murderer...good thing she wasn't free when you two were connected or you may be dead also. You are what I call a true sap!

I just saw on here the Della died in prison, I met her many years ago (in prison) Yes she was very soft spoken, I use to think she was wierd in a round about sort of way, never smiled hardly and she was so timid acting... but that was who she was, she did not put on errors for me or even play nice. Do I think she killed her husband.......... it is not my place to pass judgment on her, because i do not walk in GODS shoes. I would like to say It is my hope that she got right with god because in the END all that matters is where you will spend eternity? God bless to her family and friends. R.I.P. my ole friend!!!!

um excuse me all you crazy people out there !!! This lady was crazy from the beginning her mother was crazy and she was crazy !! She killed her husband and that is who we need to feel sorry for the poor man that died because of her greediness, his poor children and his family that is left to grieve because of this woman wanting money and material things. She is a horrible person and the devil will take care of her. I love all people and I am so sorry but I cannot feel sadness for a woman who had everything and killed for nothing. We all have a choice is to make in her choice was to kill for greed there is no sympathy for someone like that.

I was also at Marysville with this woman and I think it's disgusting for anyone to feel pity or defend this woman when she killed out of GREED! Because she knew this man was advertising serving her with divorce papers! He worked hard for what he had and was advised to not leave his house during the divorce or she would get the house during the divorce and this poor man lost his life! What about his FOUR children that lost their father? For what? Greed, that's what! This trash, being Della Dante Sutorious, put on a sweet demeanor, soft voice, and thought she would get away with murder! WRONG! It don't work like that, nowadays! Thank God the jury, police, media, judge, and society seen through her facade! Anyone making her out to be anything other than what she was, should be ashamed of themselves. Shame on you, look his children and even grandchildren in the face and tell them how much of a good woman she was!

She should have been put to death after being accused and sentenced. As should anybody who kills for any other reason but self defense.

Well BEANS ------> What i DID want, was the DEATH PENALTY! More is less....... Burn her, fry her, throw her under the bus, I don't care which one, but it's too late for any of that, right? She got to live out the rest of her fake mousy life on a bunk, blanket, with some food! I still say " Shame on Anyone Who Pitied Her "

My father briefly dated her in the early 80s. She was a piece of trash until the day she died. I don't know why people keep defending this sick woman. She told my dad many times she knew people who could have him killed. She threw a fit at a jewelry store because he refused to buy her close to a $1000 pair of earrings. She would hit herself and call the police. Luckily the police didn't buy her story that time. He said she knew how to manipulate people but she wasn't even that pretty. He said she looked awful on some days. None of his friends could stand her. She stole a lot of money from him when he finally got away from her. He's happy he didn't end up with her. Oh and she was very very physically and mentally abusive to her daughter. She called her daughter ugly and worthless and never spent any time with her little girl. We all hope her daughter is alright

Met her once before she was married to Dr. Sutorius. She was an acquaintance of a mutual friend. She wigged us out. Just a creepy feeling about her. She left that night and went to a high end steak house. Camr back a couple of hours later and claimed someone there had tried to grab her and she complained to management. She got a free meal. It sounded dubious. She never said she'd been married before, muchless had a child. Shouldn't have been shocked to read about her arrest not long afterwards. Dante as she called herself when we met her was a very strange person. Our guess was mental problems. Still think this. Hope she rests in peace and same for her husband who tragically was killed.
