The pub really is done. Guess the key to a profitable nice pub is not paying sales tax and using those funds for loan sharking.

Pretty funny, Lisa gets six months. Half of which are already served. Alan get's a year, thought everybody thought he would be visiting Lisa. She should re-open the pub while Alan's locked up, and lock him out.

Earlier posts kept saying..... "when the truth comes out" or "this was a witch hunt" or "they're innocent.". Looks like the truth is out, the jury and judge didn't see a hunt, and no innocence here as they both admitted their parts in these crimes. It's over, let's move on.

Not much justice, however it is at least closed. Maybe we can have a Pub someday that the owners actually care for the patrons.

you say that it is at least closed....was there something wrong with the place? I always heard that it was a decent place and the crowd was well behaved.

Who cares??? The pub will be back open soon and if not then it will be another wasted building in Fort Plain that will never get used.

Well, I for one hope the Pub reopens. We dont have any especially nice places in this town and irregardless of who owns it or who ran it or "what" the did or didnt do.....they "did" make it look very nice and had a very nice atmosphere in there. Lots of people were enjoying going in there for lunch, after work ,meet and greet and just chill and I think theres lots of folks who miss having a decent place to go. " Especially"...here in Ft. Plain!

I miss the Pub very much. It is wonderful to be able to meet friends for dinner and a drink right in the middle of our village. The prices worked for me,on a limited budget. The people were always fun. People screw up. Fort Plain loses. I hope someone opens it again soon.

Prices were good since the owners subsidized overhead costs with the sales tax proceeds
