Did they double check the guys identity to make sure it wasn't, Ronnie Jett? As I understand he has some experience in that line of work.

Once again, they call out the cavalry for a petty thief. And once again the chase team from Angola fails miserably, the helicopter is ineffective, and the roadblocks are a waste of time. In the end Ard is captured because he is a dumba$$ and uses his cell phone. Kudos, to WFPSO for tracing the signal and catching him.
If there is an escapee or suspect who is a violent offender, rapist, child molester, etc. please use every resource available. I just think it is a huge waste of tax money to conduct this type of search for an escapee who was in jail for writing bad checks, or for someone who stole copper. They have the guys name, let the detectives do their job and find him by talking to family, or in this case it was as simple as waiting for him to make a call.
The most upsetting thing about this story is the ineptness of the Angola chase team. They are supposed to be a great highly trained unit; however resent assignments prove their incompetence. They canít find a suspect sitting in an attic less than a mile from where he went missing, or one sitting in a tree less than a mile away from where he ran. These are the people who we count on to keep us safe in the event a monster escapes from Angola, the chase team is supposedly the best of the best. God help us if thatís is their best.

Probably not "The Best of the Best". More like the best of what is locally available. Think about it. That is West Feliciana Parish.

I agree, move. I work with a couple of people that down our state and our community. One day I got a little upset and said if your state is so great why are you not working and living there? Don't down us, just move.

You have stated time and time again that you don't like living here and don't much like the people living here. Now I'm not going to say "move" because you probably can't. But, you can give us a break by not posting your negative BS. There are numerous things and numerous people around you that are a joy to behold. All you have to do is seek out the good and leave the negative as an aside. Give it a try, Spurvey, and report back in three days. Dismissed.

These copper thefts are important. These idiots are disrupting peoples lives by destroying plumbing and air conditioning units that costs thousands of dollars for just the little money they can get for scrap.
I am glad they called out the calvary and hope they will every opportunity they get to rid our community of this kind of trash.

Thank you law enforcement!

The chase team was called to a burglary at (not ur mommas) in Livonia. They captured two black males within 30 minutes of arriving on the scene. And recovered all the stolen money for the family that owns the business. Kudos to the Angola chase team.
