I wish that the inmates weren't allowed to make phone calls all day and night to their victims.

My daughter gets calls every 5 minutes from her abusive boyfriend. He is in Algoa Prison.

I don't want my tax dollars spent on this because it makes it that much harder for her to get away from him and he still has his control.

The man is in prison and his rights are protected. What about her rights?

if she does not want to receive calls from his, she can call the prison and request that he not be allowed to call her, she can complain to the prison, that he is harassing her. The prison will make sure he stops. Also no tax payers money is used for phone calls, he can only call out of a prison with collect calls. So your daughter has to accept the callect.
