If they can't do the time don't do the crime. I don't care how old a person is, if they kill some one let them do life!!!

Sir - think of the person you were at 14 - and who you are today. I would hope that you have matured (however from this post that is not all that obvious) but most people do, grow, mature, and learn that one of lifes greatist lessons is learning to feel compassion for others. Your post is sad.

I've watched Keba grow. I met her when she was real young. She has grown up to be a very mature young Lady, but she also takes accountability for the crime that she committed. You would have to know the whole story before condeming her. She is really a sweet person. And I personally love her to death. I feel she should be given a second chance .

I also wanted to say there is 3 more I feel that should be given another chance in life who are in Mitchellville.
angel Stewert and Ruthann Veal. Ms. Veal is not guilty. Tatiana Dixon shouldn't have gotten a day for defending herself. The man who killed his neighbor had life, it was overturned and he ended upo with 10 yrs. Same case as Ms. Dixon. That poor Girl has life. Is it because he was white and she Black? Makes you wonder about the system.

Childrens brains are not fully developed and that is why there are laws such as drinking age, driving, concent to acts where adults are responsible, gambling ..I could go on and on. children dont see the whole picture or are fully aware of the effects of their actions. Punishing children with tbeir life? giving children adult sentences in adult courts instead of the treatment, managment and concideration all children deserve. next time your child acts out or steals something maybe gets in a fight at school would you want them charged with assult to do adult jail time surrounded by offenders of all types even for a short time? would you leave any kid with a violent offender, sex offender, deviants and sociopaths as their babysitter, role models and new best friends becouse they have behaviour problems and should be punished accordingly. thats what the court system run by adults decide each time that little boy/girl who made a terrible mistake reacting without fully functioning thought process is sentenced to when convicted in adult courts as an adult to adult penitentuaries with adult offenders.
