Cars pass the Air Power Park on West Mercury Blvd. in Hampton. In the foreground is a Mercury test capsule that was used in training and preparation for America's first manned spacecraft.

These days it's more like "pawn shops, tattoo parlors, rim stores, rent-to-buy junk", and other crap.

I hate to keep putting the area down, but it is what it is. Can't wait to get out of here!!

I visit kmart when I head up that way. It's old but nicely run. I am suprised though Iran hasn't tried to steal those old planes and rockets thinking they would work.
