How can one get into this program if they are in
Caddo Correctional Center now? He just recently did a crime and made sure he would be caught with this very hope in mind of getting help. He has been in and out of treatment centers for bipolar for 4 to 5 years, all voluntarily or do to him trying to do something drastic to get help. This is his last attempt for help I am afraid. Please advise.

I am so glad that this facility recognizes that chemical abuse is a desiese that can be corrected if given a chance. Usually the chemical is what is used to hide hurt that is buried deep in a person, that doesn't know how to express there feelings!I know in my Heart that god wants people to be disiplined for the actions of there desiese and to recover if given a chance! Because only punishment instead of disipline will not help them deal with there hurt or help them change there ways to be a better person in life! with the right help and if they want to be helped they deserve a chance to recover and have a chance in society to enjoy life the way God meant it to be!!!

I truley don't understand why the judicial system does not treat the the people in need for recovery of the chemical desiese as any other, and place them under rehabilitation in society where they can learn to deal with the real world while learning to deal with recovery!! I personally know punishment behind bars is not gonna solve the problem, it only take there freedom as punishment but does not resolve what got them to the point of using in the first place!!!! I can understand some jail time, but if they haven't hurt anyone then its only punishment, and not the solution to changing them to become better people in society, but if the stay is really prolonged it has only added to there real problem, and has not helped them become the the better side of the person they lost in drugs or alcohol to start off with!!! I know no one sets out to become a drug addicted person or alcoholic in life, I believe long term rehab. on the outside would benefit a person than caging them up like animals!!! Have you ever caged a cat for a long time and then let it loose, cause if you have you would know they don't know which direction to go and may get in more trouble than before!! The man I Love is there for DWI's and has 17yrs. and never hurt anyone, and they put child molesters back on the street ,but just need to know where there at,and have to let others know what they did, but the sad part of that is they emotionally and sometimes phsically destroyed another human life!!!! What since does that make????? Lets learn how to help them ,not strip them from becomming better people in society!!!!
