No tuberculosis in Alabama prison
Alabama prison officials say there's no active case of tuberculosis at Donaldson Correctional Facility, where two inmates were moved out last week for treatment of possible TB.

I think all prisons should be allowed to use sex offenders and murderers as medical testing subjects without their knowledge. We could only pray for active TB cleaning out a whole prison once in a while.

Sure and what if your wrongly accused of a sex offense Oh like you pull off the side of the road to urinate because nothing is open or no public restroom and you can't hold it. You are seen even though you are trying to not be seen. Click your handcuffed and arrested for indecent exposure (Alabama Sex Offender)so now you think still it is okay to be used as a test subject. ALL INMATES are still HUMAN and have HUMAN rights. Well they are HUMAN but they are not treated as HUMANS. They are thrown into the ALDOC and fed meat that says NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION written on the box. Put in overcrowded prisons beaten and stabbed. Stolen from Maced But NO reform, No treatments, No Therapy. NO Ice except at night a small cup if they are lucky. Heat index outside is 112 degrees how about the heat index inside a concrete building with a small window no screen over it getting bitten by mosquitoes that could be carrying West Nile Virus. Having Sewer back up into the cells Having maybe 2 toilets that work for over 100 men to use. Being packed in buildings equipped to house around 980 inmates but it has around 1600 inmates. When you get lucky enough to have family that can scrap up to put money on your books so that you can eat something that you actually know what your eating someone else steals it with no regard to how hard your family struggled to try to see that you stay somewhat healthy because they know that your not a bad person only made a few poor judgements .... Not all inmates are innocent But not all of them are guilty either. But they are all HUMAN BEINGS and have HUMAN rights. REGARDLESS of what their crime is. Being inside those prison walls away from your family and loved ones is more than punishment it is torture. They Should not be used as medical test subjects they have families that will suffer to. Families that suffer everyday that they don't hear from them. Not knowing if their loved one is still alive or if they are sick and if they are sick will they get the proper medical attention. I know that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and this is mine.......

In the Country setting there is not always something open. There isn't a public restroom at every corner. You step out of your car go to the edge of the road up into the woods behind a tree. If someone sees you you can be arrested for indecent exposure that in Alabama is a sex offense and you have to be a registered sex offender and report every 6 months. I personally was driving down the interstate just a few weeks ago in Alabama and seen a man standing behind his car urinating. It was a stretch of Interstate where there was no exits for several miles in either direction and was in the middle of the day. If I had been a State Trooper or other law enforcement that man would now be charged with a sex offense. Not all sex offenders are child molesters some are young men that a girl friends family got mad and turned him in for having sex with their daughter who they were aware were having sex but then for some reason they break up. I was using the indecent exposure as a example. But so many people automatically think sex offenders is someone who has raped a child. IT isn't. Research the laws in your state on what is classified as a sex offense. They may not be as back woods as Alabama is. After all this is the Bible Belt and Alabama is against non martial sex of any kind look at the laws for Alabama you can actually be arrested for adultery if someone pushed it hard enough. http://law.justia.com/alabama/codes/
Read these links for the laws and statues of Alabama laws. Some of it is shocking. But then some of it is great. Someone that rapes a child needs help. They have mental issues they are sick. But not every sex offender is a child molester. I have taken legal classes for Alabama Criminal Defense. I am now wanting to make people aware that not all sex offenders are child molesters. Maybe some Public Education is needed to this issue. Everyone associates a sex offender as a child molester. The laws are strict on sex offenses and they should be but don't list everyone that has a sex offense as a child molester or rapist because, they aren't. The laws are set up to protect people. The prisons are supposed to reform the criminals. Not use inmates as test subjects. Regardless of what anyone does they are still a Human Being. Did You know that in Alabama someone can earn good time for Murder. But a sex offender or a drug dealer can't. So someone could murder you, and serve a third of the time they are sentenced to serve. IF they have sex with a girl that is 16 and they are 19 they have to serve their full time. That doesn't seem right now does it?
