Sex offender arrested just after Calif. release

A sex offender whose planned release drew warnings from public officials was arrested within an hour after his release Wednesday for violating his parole, authorities said.

I don't understand why this woman he knew who was probably taking him to where he would live--was a reason to arrest him for parole violation.
Knowing nothing about whether he took the sex offender classes and whether he was evaluated by professionals as being low risk to commit another crime against a child --they only positive I get from this is that he was set up to fail.
