Sounds like the chief will be running for public office......his platform? He will single-handedly revamp and overhaul the St. Lawrence County criminal justice system, as soon as his super hero costume comes back from the cleaners.

Police officers make poor activists. Stick to policing chief, leave the criminal justice system to the legislator. If you don't like it, stop voting for the good ol' boys.

tim is doing just fine - at least everything he can do by himself. read both of his articles and think about them. what good does it do if he is out there arresting people - and da's and judges release them. look at where the fault belongs.
i too am very curious as to why those same judges and da's are letting the heavy duty drug dealers walk free that have finally been arrested and are behind bars where they belong.
perhaps an open letter from the chief offering us correct actions to employ would help him and us get drug dealers with foot long rap records off the street.
huh

i read those articles also. if i clipped them out - who could i send them out to -in order that the breach of justice (my opinion)
could be known about corrected. does anyone know - to whom this issue could be addressed???

I agree with Tim. It is getting ridiculous around here and we all know who these scumbag people are, skin color aside, they stand out.

Instead of the idiots in Albany, with Cuomo being the biggest one, giving each other high fives for passing gun laws that tromp on legal gun owners constitutional rights in this state, why don't we lock up these repeat offenders before something really bad happens around here (I.e., someone taking one of these city scum out and having to fight murder charges in court)... just saying.

Huh, I believe the reference here is to Chief Currier as one town police chief alone. It's not like we're hearing anything from any other town pd chiefs, sheriff, state police captain, etc. discussing this serious problem. Something does really need to be done about this, and I commend Chief Currier bringing it up to the media and increasing awareness for all of us. Please don't drop the ball now, Chief.

To the person who coment as the kocsis boys. Who cares? Are you that bored? someone has commented already with the Tom Spinner post about Kocsis. Can you read???? We are sick and tired reading about the KOCSIS BOYS. You keep the words Scott the weiner. Use something else. It is plaid out you sliver DICK. We the people on topix think your a strange person. Your a stalker and have the hots for Scott the big weiner.I am female. He has a big weiner and i good in bed. He thinks your gay and wants you o hit you in the brown eye. Your pissed a him because you asked him for sex. You are to gross, fat and ugly. As for his criminal back ground? Get it right. Then post it or make comments. 2 D.W.I. convictions And scheme defraud. He has paid most of the people back. You would have been paid back also. Blame st. lawrence co. courts, d.a. nichole duve, and his attorey for screwing that up. So he stopped payments after he was sent to prison. He told the judge i will contiue to pay. But no. send him to prison. You dont know what your taliking about. His partners took the money. Scott took the ride for his partners. Scott was the only one who was trying to give it back. Not Ron Baxter or Randy Brown. Try finding out what actually happened. What ever his brother does? that is him. Not Scott or anyone else. Like we have said? Boring.

post or make comments on something different. Kocsis. This i boring. We know the faults. I actully feel sorry for scotts family. He has cleaned himself up. When he and his partners were in bussiness he was doing great. Til he hired a bunch of retards. Customers kept calling him for work. I know him. He was selling jobs at the end of the year for taxes at $500,000. That was his annual sales for work. So what he was arrested for was petty crap. Look into it. His parole officer did. Scott was release from parole early because of the investigation done by parole. Amazing what Scott has done for the community. He is far being a theif

The prob is no good jobs! There r jobs but people don't want them! People should be made to work and get drug tested before they get welfare money or assistance ! The system is the prob! Perfect ex.....parole ! U get out of jail u must b forced to work! Shovel $hit at a local farm! If you don't like it... Find another! If u can't, better yourself! Education should be free in this country! If still can't find 1...then maybe u shouldn't have become a criminal! U chose that life so live with the consequences!!!! Now then is welfare, people should be made to work!! What exactly is is criteria to receive $??? I received food stamps once when I needed help & stop when I didn't!! So explain y welfare is so easy??? That is why people move here... It's way 2 easy to get on welfare and keep it!! Plus food stamps should not buy candy & soda. Should have allowance for t.p., toothpaste, deodorant ,soap and cleaning products! These items should have checks like WIC! Tired of $ going to cigs and beer!

thank you for bringing the problems to light - chief. now can anyone tell us where to address some of these issues to - to enlighten even more people and put an end to this plea bargain farce for heroin dealers?
excuse me - when i say refer to chief - i am , of course, referring to the police force also, under his command.

a police chief is not a law enforcement officer, a chief is a political appointed office selected by polititians (had to be an ass kisser to get the job, doing and saying what his bosses tell him). they generally do things against the public welbeing and against the best interets of the actual officers. a sherrif is an ellected police leader and has to answer to the public, they generally go with whats in the publics best interest. a police chief is not a police officer, they are a political lacky.

tim is appointed by a polititian and answers to them, not to the public. best not to trust anything he says or does since it will always be what his boss favors (unless the polititians don't give a damn about something, then he is free to decide his own actions and may do whats best for the public).

The lack of employment is not the reason. That is a cop-out by the ones who wish to blame their law breaking ways on something beside their own lack of morals! Scum get out of own town!! Go back to where you came from and pollute you own neighborhoods!!!

he was appointed by the village officials(elected) after passing a civil service exam. He is governed by the Village Board.
