Good for him. An if you notice it's all the trash that's moving here from other cities that are fresh out of prison. They all walk the streets as I said "walk" because they do not work and live off the system or sell drugs for a living. It's sickening. What is the area coming too. It's a shame. Look around at all the trash that lives here collecting welfare it makes me sick. No wonder I pay so much in taxes. Massena is starting to look like a big prison without the fences and big bars surrounding it.

Maybe u should put higher bails and get the city sloth out of here and make a example and let them rot in slccf, than prison. instead of creating problems and making false arrest.....

He's not just figuring this out. He's known a long time and finally has the balls to speak out about it. Good for you, Chief Currier. It's more than we can say for other police chiefs in St. Lawrence County. Burying your heads in the sand won't help. Speak to Ms. Duve and Judge Richards and do something about this bullshit!

Props to you Chief. If I was the father of that piece of shit, I would have paid the bale myself. If the girl is that bad or not and she was my daughter he would have a hard time walking when I was done with him.

There needs to be a new law that when someone is paroled they are sent back to the place the lived in when they were busted, instead of warehousing them in rural communities. All they are doing is teaching our youths how to be bigger criminals and bigger drug addicts, I have never seen so many heroin busts in my life up here as in the last year.

Chief Currier my 12 yr old daughter sounds smarter than you, I agree with one thing enough is enough and we do need a new Leader in this town you and your police force are worthless. If I was one of the people mentioned in this article I would file a huge lawsuit, buy the massena pd and fire them all. The citizens of this town may be ignorant but GOD knows and one day you to will be judged

I say its one of two things y they're still on the streets.... 1) They're is some criminal activity going on with the judge or the DA perhaps. Wouldn't be the first time the system has covered for scum dealers with lots of money. Money is the root of all evil and some people even the ones you least expect can be dirty. 2) The da and or the judge is scared to go to sleep at night because Of the shootings illegal guns etc. I mean look what they did to that girl. There's a good chance they're scared.

It seems Mr Richards and ms duve r as big of a problem as the city sloth that has found there way up here worrying about taking a man to three trails wasting hard earned tax payers money when it was once again city sloth that did it . if u notice it says in God we trust in the canton court rm and bottom line at the end of the day justice is blind and these r nothing but fake one rm horse court rm and back yard justice seems more of a plan wake up your future grand kids have to live around here futher help the existence and vote all the pretend law people out of office and get real respectful honest loyal people for r area and future childen

This isn't a Black or White problem It's a drug problem which doesn't care about any color except the color green of your money, Time for the people to take back their town. Put their names and addresses out there for all to see so good people know who they are.

why keep trashing currier? he wrote a pretty good article. it is clear that he sees issues, and tries to amend them, but his hands are tied. no man is a mountain. give him a break. he tries to do a pretty good job. you might cast your eyes on others that are in the system and see what they are doing.? that wouldn't be too hard to figure out if you really read his article. matter of fact - why don't you quit hiding behind a false name and go right to tim and ask him "what can i do to help?". maybe if enough of you did that instead of casting stones, there would be less drug deals going on around here and there would be no need to castigate soemone else. AND you could take pride in YOUR actions.
