You lack imagination. You just keep repeating your mantra. What I meant is that you cannot look inside yourself to identify any flaws that might be present. Much like our president.....
Like you even have a clue. I am the most self reflective person you will ever meet. Def not as paranoid and close minded as you, but self reflective.

I have lots of mirrors in my home and like what I see. I am an educated and productive member of society. You should be so lucky.
You know, when I read the comment about mirrors, I KNEW You had lots of them!

"Mirror, mirror on the wall..."

We're still not so sure about the "educated" part. You writing skills surely don't reflect it.

Neither does its reading comprehension skills nor its reasoning skills.

I find it interesting, well not that interesting that you blame crime on a so called "small gene pool". What study or half baked treatise exists that purports to draw conclusions that products of a "small gene pool" have less a moral rudder? Furthermore, the inferior Southern European half-breeds found bottom feeding in the environs of Staten Island would more likely fall victim to a "small gene pool given it's a rent controlled island that has had limited access and mobility for decades.
I rest my case
Once again loose stool, you are clueless. Maybe you need to visit Todt Hill before you speak about Staten Island. Staten Island also has access to all the surrounding boroughs and NJ dimwit. You personally are the epitome of a shallow gene pool, or drug use by your mother when she was pregnant with you, if you even know who your mother is! I did not blame the crime on the shallow gene pool. That you can blame on socio economic issues, lack of police protection and bad parenting. I'm done wasting my time with a low life like you. Loser.

The Poconos also has access to all those resources, twit. Isn't that why you are here? I blame I-80. 46 was much less traveled. My memories of traveling to New York were clear on the fact that when you reached the Oranges the smell started permeating the air and it got stronger and more offensive as you approached the GW bridge.

Or how about Rte 3 past the Meadowlands. Before they built the racetrack and stadium, that place just plain stunk! It was a complete wasteland.

Then the Jets moved in and the smell is worse.

Never gonna happen. Slush does not debate. She has said so. In her alleged mind, it's her opinion or nothing.

That's why she has so many mirrors in her house. SOMEBODY has to agree with her!

I just know an exercise in futility when I see one. I have stated before that I have no need to try to change your mind and I know that you will never change mine, so why bother? Many people agree with me - those that do not sit on topix all day trying to find an audience for their close minded and prejudice attitudes.

Too bad your experience is so limited. There are some beautiful areas of both NY & NJ. Areas you could never afford and obviously have never ventured beyond your own backyard. Your ignorance of anything outside the Poconos is obvious.

There are some nice places in New Jersey. I have visited many of them.

And there are some VERY nice places in New York too. But you have to head north and west to find them. That cesspool in the southeast corner of the state is what is taking the rest of the state down. And the people in upstate new York that I know always agree with me.

Wanna see a pretty area of New York? Come on up to Saratoga Springs. Horse country. Celebrating the track's 150th year. Saratoga's downtown is about the size of Stroudsburg. But it is alive and vibrant all year round. Strong national stores like Eddie Bauer and Men's Warehouse. Every restaurant has al fresco dining in season.

Yeah, you're right. There ARE some beautiful places inNew York. Just not down where you come from.

My dislike comes from people like you who still believe the City is the center of the universe. And yet, refuse to live there.

I do not like NOO YAWK City. And I stay true to my beliefs by refusing to call it my home. You think it's a wonderful place but live somewhere else. To me that's a form of hypocrisy.

I get my local news out of Albany. The Legislature has been rocked by corruption multiple times in the last year alone. And each and every proven corrupt politician is from NOO YAWK CITY!

And now Anthony WEINER looks to be the next Mayor!

Need I say more?

I never said it was the center of the universe. Those are your words. However, I do know that it has much to offer and your 'Noo Yawk' description shows that you are just as close minded and uninformed as the rest on this forum. There is good and bad in every area of this country. Go visit Times Square, Coney Island, the Statue of Liberty, the Theatre District, Hells Kitchen, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Central Park, The Village, NY Public Library, Astoria, the Botanical Garden and the multitude of museums and seaports to get some education on what NYC has to offer. Many of you could use a lesson in culture anyway. New York is a beautiful state , with so much at your fingertips. Can't compare that to the limited attractions of the Poconos. Not even close.

If it's so great and wonderful, why aren't you living there? Obviously you feel the Pokes have much more to offer.
NOO YAWK is the accent. Just as "Bahsten" has their accent.

If you had visited my alternative Stroudsburg site you would have seen a local attraction that is unavailable in St. Patrick's.
