Why would Obama NOT simply ELIMINATE him, like he did Osama?

What is Obama's political agenda in bringing this man INTO our country for FEDERAL PROSECUTION and ultimate PUNISHMENT??

Is this helpful CLOSURE for 9/11... OR ... is this the SPARK that will ULTIMATELY set the world tinderbox on FIRE?

Special operations forces. One of the first steps taken by President Bush after Sept. 11 was to revive, fund and expand special operations forces as the dog that would hunt down and kill terrorists.
President Bush also made U.S. Special Operations a war-independent command, just like U.S. Central Command, meaning it could plan and execute its own battle plans.
The U.S. Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), the Army's Delta Force and Navy’s SEAL Team 6 mostly had focused on hostage rescue. After Sept. 11, they started receiving the manpower and intelligence to become manhunters. Their biggest successes: Saddam Hussein; al Qaeda’s top Iraq terrorist, Abu Musab Zarqawi; and Osama bin Laden.
Special Ops/Intelligence. The Bush administration fused commandos with the nation’s intelligence agencies — the CIA, the National Security Agency and the Defense Intelligence Agency — into task forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.
President Bush also transferred a highly secretive military intelligence unit, which specialized in technical surveillance and intercepts, to the Joint Special Operations Command so that commandos and intelligence experts could work together directly.
Predator strikes. The Bush administration established Predator drone bases in Pakistan to strike at al Qaeda and Taliban extremists in that country’s frontier badlands, where U.S. ground troops cannot go.

These policies are still in place...used by obama.

Let us know how we can humiliate you further, funny boy.

What?!? they can plan and implemet their own battle plans? without congressional oversight? didn't Bush know about the constitution?

So you give bush the credit, but none to the special ops guys...

when bin laden was killed you gave it all to the spec ops guys and none ot Obama.

at least your inconsistancy is consistent...

Hw stupid are you, peanut? I give all credit for killing obl to the special ops, I give credit to his being found to Bush (so does the seal who wrote "No Easy Day"). I give credit to Obama for giving the go ahead. But NOT for changing ANY policies that Bush had to put together FROM SCRATCH due to the do nothing policies of Clinton. You're hopelessly in desperation fiction mode.....What a laugh!!

Couriers were needed by Osama to receive and send information. In order to keep him alive, in order to keep him safe, they couldn't allow any communication. There was no television. There was no Internet. There were no telephones, no satellite, nothing in or out. It required couriers. Detainees who may have been waterboarded, and again we need to never forget that President Obama deserves praise for continuing the policies established by George W. Bush which led to the acquisition of this intel that led us to the enlarged hut in Pakistan that led to the assassination of Bin Laden that night.

Well Done, all (especially Bush)

Clinton.....thanks for nothing.

Dear, we weren't fighting a global war on terrorism under Clinton. remember how hard he had to fight to get the US involved in Kosovo?

More lies from our Uncle Sam. More witch hunt. More McCarthyism in modern times. More fear feeding to the US taxpaying sheep. No money for social programs but millions to fund covert operations to spook Americans by the tranquilizing drug of fear by terrorism. When will you gullible sheep wake up and realize that 'soilent green is people'. Figuratively speaking.

Why try him in civil court? He is a enemy combatant, a terrorist...not a U.S. civilian committing criminal acts. He should be detained in a military prison and interrogated.
