Murder for hire, murder during a robbery, neither of these should be considered manslaughter. This trash got off lucky. Then, they have the nerve to ask for time-out, excuse me, I meant home confinement for this trash. All this talk about his family problems. Like if he was there things would be so much better for his people. I truly think his parents will rest easier at night not having to worry about what this knucklehead will get into next. Clearly he's a drain on them and society at large. Might get out in as little as 18 months? He won't learn anything. He'll come out thinking he's real tough, and dangerous. He'll be right about the dangerous part. I notice there was no concern shown for Rene's family or how they are to make it without him around to help; or his daughter who will most likely have to grow up around the trash that killed her daddy if her mommy gets back together with this trash once he gets out of prison. This whole thing makes me sick to my stomach. And I bet you this guy is in jail right now feeling like he's the victim in all this, but secretly knowing he got over and got away with murder.

I agree with everything you say. I honestly believe justice has not been served. I would hate to think that one of my family members could do something like this, but if they did and I knew they did, I could not take up for them. Right is right and wrong is wrong. My heart would break, but justice should be served for everyone!! Where is Rene's justice? Where is justice for his daughter? Why should we feel sorry for the murderer? Ted Nugent said it the best, No one wants to hurt their feelings!!! That is why no one steps up. Give me a break, Ted is right, quit feeling sorry for these sad sacks of sh**. Give them what they deserve and maybe the next one will think twice before they commit a crime!!!
