Youth to protest Detroit's 'school to prison pipeline'

The organization, a youth activist nonprofit funded by the Harriet Tubman Center, cites American Civil Liberties Union statistics indicating 36 percent, or 25,534 of the Detroit Public Schools approximately 70,000 students were suspended during the 2011-2012 school year.
