first of all are u a co or former co, I doubt it so you have no clue of what a co do. rounds are made, and their are approx. 100 other inmates to be watched. If he didnt commit a crime in the first place he wouldnt be where he is right now!!!!!!!!!!

You are so right, some prison has hundreds of inmates to keep an eye on they can not be at everyone's side. I would agree with you if he did not commit the crime he wouldn't be where he is right now. My mom also said what goes around comes around sooner or later.

If you need to heard from him then take out time to go visit him instead of staying at home, maybe that is why he is in there cause you never took the time for him or listened to his needs or stop and think did you evcery tell him you loved hime?

The only person that is accountable for his death is himself, if he didn;t commit the crime then nothing would of happened, I do not feel sorry for him. The correctional officers has hundreds of people to account for not just (1)

I see they are investigating the death of a prisoner my brother died in that prison aug.23rd,2009 and they are responable for his death .talk about the co well if the co would of taken the time and called for help for my brother he would still be alive.he was only 56 and he wasn't in there for some horrible crime like the other.all those in prison are doing there time for the crimes they commit doesn't give the right for co not to respond tp someone who is in dire distress.they cover there butts .the whole prison system but they can get away with it.it's ok for them to do the crimes they do and do not have to pay for them.21/2 months for my brother and we still haven't gotton a death certificate.read the laws go to and read prisoner storys and see how many died from the neglect of the prison system.you peggy sue need to get a life.thank god for witnesses that aren't afraid to come forth and speak.co they are worse then half those prisoners.half of them need to be behind those bars

Of course the CO's can't know everything that's going on everywhere but the people who think they can are writing in the midst of grief so I can overlook the irrationality of their thinking. What concerns me is what the former CO's are saying about the idea that this death is no big deal because the inmate had committed a crime so whatever happens in prison is his fault. Can you possibly be serious??? Wow... I hope that is not a typical attitude. Taking a person's freedom away is an extrememly serious penalty and that is supposed to be the extent of the penalty. I am horrified at the callousness of your statements that because someone committed a crime, any crime, it is open season on him. I have a son at BCI and for the most part he is treated well. But it gives me chills to think that because he did one stupid thing and ended up there, that the people in charge of him may not do anything to protect him if he ever needed help. With that attitude you might as well lock the prisoners in a cage of wild dogs and walk away. Think of the money the state would save. You people are scarier than a lot of the prisoners. Fortunately, the staff I've met at BCI seem to be a bit more humane. I'm glad to know that you are FORMER Co's, no longer able to inflict your poison.

I cant believe that some of you people are putting all this people down. Everyone makes mistakes and these guys in the prison are paying for there mistakes. There doing the time for the crime so leave there family and love one's alone. I have visited this prison but after reading all of this I may not go back. My boyfriend is in there and he didnt do a horrible crime he just got calt, everyone does something illegal sometime it just matter if you get calt or not. It hurts when your love one is in prison and you worry about them everyday. So dont put there familys and friends down, cuz they just need someone that understands.
