A letter written in 1995 by former CDC Director David Satcher to former Senator Donald W. Riegle, Jr., points out that the U.S. Government provided nearly two dozen viral and bacterial samples to Iraqi scientists in 1985--samples that included the plague, botulism, and anthrax, among other deadly diseases. According to the letter from Dr. Satcher to former Senator Donald Riegle, many of the materials were hand carried by an Iraqi scientist to Iraq after he had spent 3 months training in the CDC laboratory.
So?

Let's not forget the depleted uranium used in Iraq as ammunition and in total breach of common sense knowing the danger associated with radioactive material.

You know enough about DU, do you? For instance, do you know it is less radioactive than uranium found in the soil? What do you know about alpha radiation? I argue that the real toxic issue is LEAD found in rifle bullets by the millions. Do you know the danger associated with lead in our environment? And surely you must worry about our precious bodily fluids:

These sheeple are hopeless. any effort to educate these people is futile. These people (Kenhunt and Ayershire and others like them) are either paid agents that are here to spread propaganda or are the "flag waving Patriot, US can do no wrong" morons with blinders on who can't see anything else other then what has been fed to them by media and no amount of credible evidence can have an effect on their defective brains(If they have any).

And who should I believe?You?
US sends Dual use material to Iraq during the height of their war against Iran with the full backing of US and the rest of the gang of criminals in the east and the west. So, What do you think they were for? agriculture and medical use? come on, even you can not be that naive.

I think yoou'd believe anyone who said anything bad about the USA, like the intellectual sheep that you are. Naive I am not, but WE were in the 80s. For the most part, the world was. And dual use covers a huge amount of stuff, from a shovel to a turbine. The USA did not at any time deliberately help Iraq produce WMD, and there is nothing out there to contradict that.

Take a look at what Germany and France provided if you want to go down that path.

In providing tiny quantities of toxins, The CDC ""The CDC was abiding by World Health Organization guidelines that encouraged the free exchange of biological samples among medical researchers..." according to Thomas Monath, CDC lab director. It was a request "which we were obligated to fulfill," as described in WHO and UN treaties."

Frankly, people like you who exaggerate and lie to indict the USA are really boring.

I don't have to lie. Just looking at the track record of the US interventions (military or Covert actions) into every nook and cranny of this earth is enough to indict every US politician throughout its history for crimes against humanity.

Have you actually looked at your hypertext reference? Don't you find it just a tad silly? For instance, it provides as a military action our scrambling fighters to attempt to intercept the 9-11 hijacked aircraft? See what I mean when I say you buy whatever floats by you without bothering to run it to ground. You make yourself look foolish.

Really, go back to school, sheep. DUH.

How about a Slice of Yellowcake to match your Yellow Stripe?

“How Reagan Armed Saddam with Chemical Weapons”
by NORM DIXON
http://www.counterpunch.org/2004/06/17/how-re...

EXCERPT “On August 18, 2002, the New York Times carried a front-page story headlined, "Officers say U.S. aided Iraq despite the use of gas".

The NYT "revealed" that in the 1980s, the administration of US President Ronald Reagan covertly provided "critical battle planning assistance at a time when American intelligence knew that Iraqi commanders would employ chemical weapons in waging the decisive battles of the Iran-Iraq war".

The story made a brief splash in the international media, then died.

While the August 18 NYT article added new details about the extent of US military collaboration with Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein during Iraq’s 1980-88 war with Iran, it omitted the most outrageous aspect of the scandal: not only did Ronald Reagan’s Washington turn a blind-eye to the Hussein regime’s repeated use of chemical weapons against Iranian soldiers and Iraq’s Kurdish minority, but the US helped Iraq develop its chemical, biological and nuclear weapons programs.” CONTINUED

Now, how can I educate you with your nose in that Hasbara Handbook?

Remember, I'm just here to help!

Do you read that crap? All it calls out is the CDC provisions addressed in earlier comments here, and then it posits that those samples seeded Iraq's chemical weapons, when clearly they did not and could not, also pointed out earlier. NOTHING in the article substantiates its title at all. Nothing. You are just another uneducated sheep.

My friends, you are wasting your time trying to educate these morons (Kenhunt and the crew). They know the truth, but they have to earn their pay. It's their job to spread propaganda and to call everyone "a lier". Now let's go back to the subject of "Red Line". They can draw red lines all they want till the cows come home. they have been talking of attacking Iran for at least the past decade. They bark a lot but they don't dare bite. This is all part of their psychological warfare. Iran does not need the nuclear bomb for deterrence. The Iranian ability to set the middle east oil and gas fields ablaze ,shutting down the Hormuz, their ability to wreak havoc and bring the world economy to it's knees is enough to keep the vultures at bay. After all Iran would not use such weapons on innocent civilians just as they did not reciprocate Saddam's use of chemical weapons and hitting cities with rockets when they had the ability to do so. Khomeini prohibited the use of such weapons on Iraq (while the flesh was burning away from Iranian citizens) because chemical weapons would not distinguish military from innocent civilians. If one bullet is fired in Iran's direction, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait better kiss their asses goodby. Iraq is already in the Iranian camp. Shutting the oil and gas spigots to Turkey and there goes Turkey and Europe. US and Europe are already teetering on the brink of economical abyss (Thanks to the greedy wall street bankers, the military industrial complex and their already bought and paid for corrupt politicians) all they need is the final nudge by Iran. this meltdown will stop or significantly hamper the money and weapons stream from US to Israel. Israel, then would have to bend over and kiss her ass goodby. Putting all these together would be more than adequate to keep these bullies away so just let them scream all they want. "they can not do a damn thing". The American people should know that Iran is not their enemy. Your real enemies are the corrupt politician in Washington and their Wall street Ziomasters. Focus on anything other than your real enemy and eventually you will find yourselves unemployed and uninsured, your money (if they leave you any) is worthless. Your pensions, social security and 401K gone down the toilet.
