Thank you so much for your supportive words and listening ear. I can't even explain how much that means to me. I will taking you upon that. My family don't really understand and it's not exactly something that is explainable. I will send you an email so you can have my address also. Was the Chattanooga camp changed into the Johnson City Work Camp? I know you was so happy to be reunited with your baby. I'm so glad that it wasn't longer. What is the longest time that you have done at once? When it was time for you to come home was your anxiety high? I cried the entire 1st day. I'm still nervous when I go into places and I've been out almost a month. I appreciate you and I hope you have a great day. Thanks again!
no i was suppose to go to johnson city once its been there a while sam did run it but we ended up down the road from there at the jonesbore county jail they signed on to hold state inmates when nashville was crowed and man talk about hell it was pure hell youhad no tv's no radio no windows and u didnt go outside man it was like living in hell nothing on commissary but personal items no cakes no snacks or shit, i was liking one month from doing 3 years on last time i did, it feels longer when u let that time do you ya know but it takes awhile to ajust to being out but you will just focas on staying out and putting it all behind you , i had nitemares for weeks after i got out first time and i can close my eyes sometimes now and see it all just as plain as day like im right there. was lee doarch still there when you were?

First 90% of the female inmates there attempt to manipulate the male and female officers. Second only wek mind idoits would have sex or get caught up with any of those nasty b&%$@es!! Working in a Correctional setting is very difficult especially at TPFW. Most inmates/Convicts go by the rules and give an officer hardly any trouble but there are a few who attempt to play a dumb game. They also lie and drop kites on officers. Alot of officer go to work to do their job not to look for a piece of ass!! Most of you who post on here are ex cons and really don't have a say so...The reason why there are Male Officer at a womens prison is this....If there is an escape, riot or unrest and Male officer would not hestitate to use deadly force!!!

I was at tpw for 3 1/2 years. i was released in 2010. I feel for anyone who has to do their time there, especially white women. The prison is ran by all blacks, and they seem to hate white people. So if you aren't black or you don't have a black "lover", or pretty much be a bitch for the blacks your time there is alot worse. The guards, male or female are 90% crooked, they just haven;t been caught. I never went to Memphis because my score was to high, so I can't say if it is better or worse. I recommend writing to Sam Garland at the Johnson City work camp and trying to do your time there if you are white and want to do yor time in peace, without harrassment from blacks.

Yes most that post on here are ex-cons, maybe some are still cons. But we do have a say so whether you like it or not. YOU are the one that hasnt been there, so you are the one that doesn't know what goes on there or how things work. In my opinion your entire comment is stupid. Female officers have the same access to deadly force as male officers. So maybe next time you decide to post a rediculous comment like this you may want to do some research first!!!

I just served the past 5 1/2 years in TPFW and the woman that was fired was the wife of one of the male officers fired. They was supplying cig. to the inmates and got caught. Alana, you can go to the prison website and search by Donna's name to find her. I can also write one of my associates and see what I can find out if you would like.

I was at TPW 3 different times from 2005 to 2011, the last time on max. security for 16 months.... Prison is a hard way of life but you make it what you want it to be!! Altho' I am out now, I still find some days in the free world are hard as well!! I never want to go back to prison, yet I often find myself in situations that are not quite doing the right thing! I did learn alot while in prison, especially who my true friends are... the ones who claim to love you, yet never write or visit. Family is all you got in this world and at the end of the day, they are the ones who are gonna stick by your side, good or bad!! I would reccomend anyone who has to do time, just don't get involved with the wrong crowd cuz most people there are only out for themselves. Find one or two friends and get in a schedule. Do something productive while you're there!!

My daughter has been in the Johnson City jail and came home for 10 months and went back. this time she is in Nashville TPFW. I thank God everyday and so daoes she that she was sent to a facility that did not make her feel like she was at a big sleep over camp. Don't get me wrong I don't want her life to be to hard but come on what do you learn if your going swimming and taking walks and wearing your cloths and jelwery and having pizza ordered in every Friday night like she did during the 2 1/2 years she was in Johnson City jail. now TPFW is strick but she needed strick and she will admit that. she is doing very well there and the people have been nice to her and by the way she is a red haired white girl. we live around 200 miles away and can only go to see her about once a month but she calls almost everyday. I can't wait till she can come home to her 3 boys again and I know this time she has not been in "camp" so hopefully she has learned a lesson much needed. she is non-violent but can't go to the annex till her court apperence's are all through, she has been there almost 2 years and I think she will be fully sentences by the end of Feb 2013 so she can get moved over to the annex since her points are at a minus 2 she would very easily qualify for the annex or some other program. they told her there was a new program in Chatanooga that was only like 90 days or something does anyone know about that? God bless you all and I pray you keep your heads up and your eyes on the path in front of you, never look back cause you will surely run into something if you do. good luck to everyone that got out I don't the emotions you have but after reading a little here I think I will understand my daughters batter. thank you all.

Hey sorry I haven't responded but its been along time since I've checked this as you can see. Yes I know Shelley. She was in the Paws dog program living in unit 1 east the last I know. If u go to the inmate locator website and put her name in it will give u her prison number and the address of her location whether its still tpfw in nashville or mlcc in Memphis. I hope this helps and once again I apologize for not responding sooner.

What was the Johnson City Jail Work Camp like, and what all happened over there? How was your daughter treated? Did the women all work as a "chain gang"? I have a girlfriend in right now, and I worry about her. Please reply.
